I bought this Verizon pre-paid phone to replace a old Verizon cell phone that I have.
Note that I am certified in mobile devices, I have both a CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Mobility+ certifications.
The good:
- The phone is very fast to bootup, For the Android Version, is KitKat, which is 2nd from the newest Android O.S.
- Google Play works great, and also on my PC and Laptop, the Windows 10 "phone companion" application does regoxine this phone for cloud \ syncing.
- I had a 8GB MicroSD card that I installed that i had with some songs on it, and that is working great.
- The speaker is nice and loud.. I have no issues hearing anything. The headphone jack on the top of the unit is awesome as well.
- I only talking a few pictures with the 5 MP camera.. but it seems good to me.
The bad:
The one thing that REALLY made me not happy at all, was that I could transfer my Verizon phone number to this phone, but I COULD NOT keep my current pre-pay plan! There is only two pre-paid plans to choose from, and my existing minutes will not be rolled over! It's nice that there are posts on here that say that they could transfer there number and plans over with out any issues.. but not mine unless I want to pay more out of pocket.. Something is not right about that.. just be aware.
- The other thing that i found strange.. is not packing slip on the inside of the box.. I'm calling Amazon on that one. because that's strange.
Other tips: The "only" way to get out of the activation screen at the start up (if you just bought this phone for WiFi) is press the following buttons - Up, Down, back button (the arrow) and then the "home" key (the middle long front button). The best case that I have seen being sold here on Amazon for this phone is the ASHIELD.. also for reference it seems that the old name of this phone is the LG L70, Verizon just renamed it to LG Optimus Exceed 2.
Conclusion: This "IS" a good phone hardware and software wise, and for the price who can beat it. Just beware of how Verizon tries to "hook" you into paying a higher plan. That may be ok for you.. or it may take more out of your pocket like me.

just got my phone was super excited waited days for it to arrive only thing i didn't like about it was due to a error ordering it on wednesday that i didn't know about later until it was night and corrected i had to pay 25.95 over the 20.00 i woulda originally been charged. other then that i love the phone already played with it tested it out so heres a little break down ^.^. the screen is so bright and clear super easy to read love watching videos from youtube on it so clear. when changing between apps i haven't noticed any lag so far but i mainly stick to what it comes with so i don't putt a lot of apps on it there is a clear all option in the running app screen to make it easy and simple to close and exit all ur running apps. the back speaker on this phone does it job well loud n crystal clear moment you turn phone on and unlock lock screen and hear that water drop sound that comes with unlocking it you like me will know lg didn't cut any corners on this budget phones speaker. now the area of this phone that sucks is its storage :'c but after u update all the existing downloaded apps you will have about 1.21 Gigabytes available out of the 4 total the phone comes with :c. but at least you can add a micro sd card to store some of your music and photos and the applications that allow it. overall design of this phone fits perfectly in the hand super light too holding it feels like air think of holding a phone without a battery and thats what this one feels like. now the tricky thing for me is texting cause I'm so used to bigger screens but in landscape mode i text just fine the camera does average to decent but i mean for under 30 dollars can you really complain on really sunny days its amazing though pics are nice and clear. this phone also has gestures such as double tap to sleep/wake screen and flip phone to activate snooze or turn off alarm. all and all for under 30 or even 50 dollars i think this is a very good phone for someone on a budget or first time smart phone users on verizon.if this was helpful pretty please let me know ^.^thanks for taking time to read my review-Leigh
