I am using this mixed with a few other essential oils for arthritis pain. It works instantaneously and lasts for quite a while.

Very Nice Quality Basil Oil
This is my first experience with Basil Essential Oil. I'm not newbie to Essential Oils but I've never used Basil oil.This 10 ml bottle of Planet Therapy Basil Essential Oil comes in a small amber colored glass bottle with a black screw on cap. I like that it's marked on the top with a stick on label that shows it's "Basil". The label makes it easy to locate when you acquire as many little amber colored bottles as I have.The price point on this bottle of oil is reasonable at $8.49. The bottle doesn't carry the "Therapeutic Grade" wording, however the online description states that it is. I always look for that wording on quality oils or seals of approval and there were none of those either. So, it makes me wonder even though the smell seems right.When you remove the cap there is a eurodropper that releases the oil 1 drop at a time. I like this because these small bottles go fast if you pour too much. With this one and any EO's a little goes a long way.The first thing I do with all my oils when I receive them is to take a deep sniff. When I open this bottle I am delighted with the pleasant very earthy smell of basil. Very much like the plant I have growing on my patio. This oil has a good quality and doesn't seem to be diluted or altered in any way. When I close my eyes it takes me straight to my favorite Italian Restaurant. So, if you don't want to smell like Italian food don't get too much or any of this on you.I first tried it in my diffuser and it wasn't one of my favorites for diffusing. After doing a little oil research I believe my next use for it will be to mix it with some of my wintergreen, peppermint and carrier oil in a roller bottle for my aching muscles after workouts.I will also be making Homemade Bath salts with some of this oil as well using the wintergreen, peppermint and lavender.Since Basil oil is good for consuming I will also be adding to my next pot of spaghetti. I also read that it's good for anxiety and focus.I'm giving this oil 5 stars because the price is right and the quality seems right as well.Disclosure: I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
