Mild scent but pleasant
I've tried different peppermint oils. All say the same: organic essential oil. What I like about the Eve Hansen brand peppermint oil is the following:1) The scent is mild and yet potent. How do I explain this scent using the internet? * I feel the warming feel in my lungs after opening the bottle to use the dropper included with the purchase to take a picture of the clear liquid inside the bottle. Definitely use the dropper and use one drop at a time then wait about 10 minutes to feel the effect before adding more drops. * The distinct scent is a mild peppermint - not strong like peppermint candy. * The smell did not trigger a headache.2) The bottle is brown which is a sign that the company understands how to treat natural oils - in the dark. Sunlight and other lights decay natural oils. Ever notice how flowers still die when they are exposed to light? Once the oil is removed from the plant, the plant dies, right? The process of decomposition begins. Oil is rather slow to decay, but eventually the oil will decay - yes even cooking oil. The brown bottle slows the process and helps keep the oil fresh without additives.3) I like that the bottle has an actual lot number.4) I like that the oil is certified organic by OneCent.5) The oil is pharmaceutical grade. What does that mean? From the website neurobiologix "Pharmaceutical Grade products must excede 99% purity (natural sources) and contain no binders, fillers, excipients, dyes, or unknown substances."6) A high-quality glass dropper is included. If you order this product, please use the dropper and use one drop at a time. The scent is mild so you won't realize its power for about 10 minutes. It's a natural product so this makes sense.7) I have paid a whole lot more for a little bottle of peppermint oil. This is a much better value for the dollar.8) I like that I can use this oil on insect bites. I don't know why it works, but for my skin, it does.9) I like the large volume. What I don't like:1) There is no warning label that peppermint oil is toxic to cats. I use this oil for several purposes including on my bath mats to keep the cats off the mats because one geriatric cat thinks the mats are a convenient litter box. They do not like the smell at all. Because I did my research, I am exceedingly careful not to get any essential oil onto any surface where the oil can transfer to the cats' paws or fur. I really think essential oil providers should provide warnings for pet owners. We will still buy the product, but we will know to be extra careful and use due diligence with these essential oils. In their plant forms, they don't seem to be toxic to cats. The essential oil form is toxic to cats because it interferes with their liver function. So there. Now I've fussed a bit and maybe saved a kitty's life. Would I purchase this product again? Yes. Would I recommend it to friends and family? Yes, I would with caution for uses around pets. Should you buy this product? Read the reviews, do your research, and decide for yourself if this is the right product for you. I am satisfied with my purchase. I hope you found this review helpful as you make a decision about which product to buy.

Best organic peppermint oil hands down. We’ve been buying for years and will keep purchasing from this seller. We use it everyday and it lasts forever. Many people complain that the oils and other liquid products arrive broken or spilled. We have never had this happen with Eve Hansen. Their products are well package for shipping and the screw on lid and dropper work as expected. Arrived on time.

Update:
I am on third bottle and this oil is affordable and in my opinion, the best. I use it for all kinds of things including desserts.

First post:
Hands down, if not better than Doterra if not equal to. I am able to ingest it, use for external things, and use as a scent for vaporizer. There is plenty for cheap! Don't change your price unless you make it for less please. Seriously, I have had this for months and am using it and am almost finished with the bottle. It works great. I will say the same for the Tea Tree as well. I do use the Tea Tree for under arm and any where else I know I smell and it takes the smells away. Great stuff!

Update:
I have been using this oil with the Tea Tree for some months now and it is so nice to have something that continues to allow the house to smell good, but also helps in breathing especially on muggy days. I have also use this oil in soaking baths where I would have pain and a low grade fever, I put in bath water and after getting out on a hot day, the little air that I do feel is cool and crisp with the peppermint oil. Terrific! The Tea Tree I have used mainly as a healing oil and to kill fungus on my toe nails. I've used a little tea tree and peppermint also in my spray bottle to spritz a little here and there to keep bugs away. It does work - for my family and I. That even works on plants - certain bugs.

I have bought my second bottle of peppermint and am using it all over the place. I do use a small drop on my tongue on days I have a bad taste in my mouth or tongue especially when I am sick. Nice! Don't put any more it could give you reflux. It is strong stuff. I put a little in my shampoo for a cool refreshing feeling after shower. Try it on soap. Does the same on your skin. I used it in my desserts. I worked. Like a mint in ice cream and cookies and drinks.

I love this oil.

Not sure how, but it seems somewhat stale. Overall good.

I've ordered several bottles of Eve Hansen Peppermint Oil this year. It's used to repel mice, spiders, ants and flies inside and outside my pet boarding facility. A few drops on cotton balls placed under shelves keeps mice and spiders out of my storage room. I place a few drops outside around doorways, on the wooden steps leading to my office, and on the lids of the pet waste cans and the flies take off. I kid you not--bugs can't stand Eve Hansen Peppermint Oil. When used outside, I have to apply the drops daily.
This oil is very strong, but it smells delicious. I don't know how well it works for topical or oral use since I only use it as a bug repellent and to eliminate odor. If I see a fly inside, I diffuse the oil for just a few minutes in my Aroma-Ace diffuser.
A few weeks ago, I decided to try a different brand of peppermint oil where the description specifically mentioned use as a bug and rodent repellent. I couldn't stand the smell but it didn't bother the flies at all. I immediately ordered another bottle of the Eve Hansen product but just found that it was going to take 1-1/2 weeks to arrive. Today I ordered another bottle and paid for expedited prime shipping so I can have it within the next couple days.
I know this sounds like one of those reviews where someone gets the product for free, but I promise that I have paid full price for each and every bottle. At first I thought it was over-priced, but for my needs, it is worth every penny.
