I'm so thrilled that Sailor moon has turned 20 years old. The updated look makes the colors look great, considering it was released in 1992. I personally can't wait for the new series and the entire catalogue to be available, especially SailorStars. However, I have one small issue with the re-release, I just wished they released the entire series (classic, r, s, ss, and SailorStars) in one go.

Sailor Moon will always hold a special place in my heart as my gateway drug into the world of anime. I'm very picky about my anime to this very day and this show was great for its time and but doesn't quite hold up like it used to. I'll admit I love it and I probably wouldn't like it as much if not for nostalgic reasons. I'm happy that ViZ Media aquired the distribution rights to this series and soon, we'll be getting a new english dub of this show in uncut/remastered glory as well as an english dub for the recently aired Sailor Moon Crystal! We'll also be getting BluRay/DVD releases starting this November as well, so that's even better! :)

Thank You Viz Media for not streaming the DiC garbage I was force-fed as a a young 10 year old girl in 1995...now in my late 20's, I can enjoy the anime as it was meant to be seen. With the Sailor moon Crystal re-boot all ready released, I'm all ready seeing more continuity with the manga and cannot wait for more.

I just purchased the streamed versions and I know I will be purchasing the new release in November of this year because I trust it will be remastered to its original un-cut glory. My hope is more continuity with Naoko Takeuchi's vision in her manga, more background story regarding Princess Serenity/Prince Endymion, relationships identified for what they are (whether gay or straight), a more mature Usagi and a less aloof Mamoru will only enhance the experience for those of us who grew up with this anime.

I cannot wait for November, I'm so excited! Moonie forever...

Best Purchase by far; I have been a loyal fan of Sailor Moon since it first Aired in the US back in 92. I have every episode in VHS and/or DVD for all seasons including Sailor Stars, but as a true fan anything that has to do with Sailor Moon I purchase. I enjoy having Sailor Moon easily accessible on my various devices from my Amazon App.

My only concern is...When do I pre-order all the next seasons? I also hope to purchase the new released version of Sailor Moon Crystal.

I used to watch it in Russia when I was a kid, and it was my favorite cartoon. Its been almost 15 years since I last saw Sailor Moon and it almost brough tears to my eyes when I saw that Amazon has it. One thing I didn't know is that you have to read the text in english to understand it which is weird to me because it was translated to russian when i used to watch it years ago.
But I guess thats what they meant when it says Original Japanese Version!)

I'm incredibly pleased with the product however Amazon Prime itself can be tricky. Before I start watching anything though I make sure everything is in order and I'm nice and comfy. Once I get it all loaded thoigj, it works nicely.
