Saved me from Buying a new soundbar!
Our Samsung Harman/Kardon soundbar first stopped connecting via optical cable so we bought a new cable, but didn’t make a difference so we just connected via Bluetooth. A few mths later, soundbar would connect via Bluetooth then drop within a minute. I did some research and soundbars need firmware updates. Ordered this which was delivered the next day and within minutes, our soundbar is working like it did when we purchased it! It’s more than just a dongle to us!! $6.99 vs $1000 is a no brainer. Thank you!!!

    This cable is exactly what I've been needing all this time! I have this underwater camera that I love and have used many times over the years, but it uses a USB to connect to a laptop for uploading. So I always have to wait till I get home to edit or share my photos/video. It's such a pain, especially on vacations where I don't bring my laptop, to have to wait every time! But this nifty little cable now makes it super easy to hook my camera right up to my smartphone! I can access all the files on the camera with one touch, and it didn't require any separate app or learning curve. I literally just plugged my camera into one end of the cable and then plugged the other end into my phone, and the USB folder popped right up in my notifications window! Then I just choose the photos I want to save to my Google photo drive, or, on my phone at least, you can share directly to any social media or messaging app. Sooooo much easier than waiting to get to a computer. The cable is quite short, which makes it very convenient and portable so I'm not carrying around a large, tangled up cord. It's easy to have on me all the time in my purse or beach bag. I wish I'd had this ages ago, as it would have saved so much time and hassle, especially when other people are waiting to see the photos you took of them. I highly recommend this easy-to-use cable if you are needing a solution to this sort of problem. So little money for such big convenience issues solved! I see myself using this all the time now, most importantly while traveling with my previously frustrating camera!

    Conclusion: Compared to my previous USB OTG cable, this one is a big step up. It looks and feels much higher quality, with a flexible plastic cord and well formed ends. Everything works as expected: my android phone accepts flash drives, keyboards and game controllers when they are plugged into this cord. The cord transfers data at USB 2 speed. I found that the micro usb end was a bit on the tight side, but the usb-A female end was the correct size. There's really not much more that can be said about the cable: everything works as expected and the quality feels fine. Plus the 2 pack is a pretty good deal. Check device compatibility with OTG before buying, as some phones/tablets do not support OTG.

    This little gadget did exactly what we needed it to do. My husband's Samsung J7 phone would no longer show the keyboard after an automatic software update. Because there was no keyboard on the lock screen, he was unable to get into his phone. I read online that other people who had the same issue plugged a keyboard into their phone with this little gadget and were able to use that keyboard. It worked perfectly. I was able to get in there and clear the keyboard cache and data and the Samsung keyboard acts as if it had not been misbehaving for months. If you're in the same situation, I highly recommend this little cable. It worked and was far cheaper than getting him a new phone.

    I wanted to downloaded books from the BARD website onto my Fire Kindle, unzip them and put onto a flash drive. I didn't even know if this was possible, no idea what the "adapter" would be called. All I knew was that I needed a micro usb on one side and a male usb on the other side, also OTG (in case you don't know what this means, which I didn't, it's On The Go) I love it!! Took me a little playing until I figured out exactly how to put it on the flash drive, but figured it out. Did have to download File Commander (free in app store). The rest was trial and error. The only reason I'm writing all of this is because I couldn't find anything out there to tell what I needed or how to do it. Every article led me to another with a new app I needed to download. Horribly confusing. Finally, found out on the Amazon forum thingy that Fire Kindles are OTG. Once I knew that, I took the chance on this adapter. Very glad I did.

    Now, the item itself is of excellent quality. Came in a small, thick, zip lock bag that I use for storage. Short cord, feels like a thick rubber covering. Plastic for the adapters themselves, but they don't feel cheap. I had it plugged into my Kindle with a flash drive connected to it and as I mentioned it took me some time to figure it out, flapping there at the top, being put down and picked up. No cracking, no damage at all. Very well made. I hope someone else trying to find some information about Fire Kindles, OTG, and transferring information finds this review. Hopefully it will save someone some time!! I hope this helps.
