    There is something wrong with the design of the scheme. There is some noise when recording unless you turn off all the radio modules on your iPhone, especially the Cellular module.

    If you turn off all that, it doesn't have these annoying extra noises when recording the audio.

    It doesn't bother me as I don't use this for live streaming and have a dedicated iPhone for recordings.

    I’ve had my Zoom iQ7 for 3 years and could not find a better phone microphone for recording live music. I bought the latest ZOom AM7 for Android and what a huge disappointment. No wonder the AM7 is now 1/2 price since it’s release. It’s not half the microphone as the iQ7. The iQ7 simply sounds great. Great app. It just works!!

    I’ve had my Zoom iQ7 for 3 years and could not find a better phone microphone for recording live music. I bought the latest ZOom AM7 for Android and what a huge disappointment. No wonder the AM7 is now 1/2 price since it’s release. It’s not half the microphone as the iQ7. The iQ7 simply sounds great. Great app. It just works!!

    The sound quality is definitely much better than the iPhone mic. That part is great. My biggest problem with the mic is that you can only monitor the audio in the zoom app. When using it for video you have no way of monitoring (hearing the audio). The mic is advertised as for use with video.. then why wouldn't you be able to monitor it?

    This mic sounds great, way better than your normal iPhone camera, but the two microphones I've gotten so far have both had a terrible issue with static/buzzing. Any slight movement causes the mic to create a loud crackling buzzing sound. I've my second one for a few months and it's been having these issues. I can't return it back to the seller and the manufacturer has a terrible warranty policy.

    Installed the HandyRecorder app for my ipad mini 3 as instructed but it does not recognize the zoom IQ7 microphone. Instructions for the app are only found after an extensive search on the website. I feel like I got the run around from the product support people when I asked about this problem. But the mic works well with GarageBand so I'm not entirely at a loss. I am not happy at all with customer service and the difficulty of using this product without easy access to an operation manual.

    動画録画時に音ズレが起きます
    iphone 6s Plusです

    しかも、、、、動画だけでなく
    カラオケアプリやガレージバンドという
    『音声の重ね撮り』でも発生
    動画もですが、重ね撮りの場合
    0.4秒以上ズレると致命的なレベルじゃないですか？

    例えば単音で同じフレーズをレコーディングしたとして
    2分目あたりから
    『あれ？ロングディレイかけた？』
    となり
    4分も経つと『曲として成り立ってないやん』
    というレベルになります。3秒以上ズレています

    映像を捨てて
    レコーディング機材として割り切って使おうとしましたが レコーディングすら出来ない感じです

    映像なし、一発撮りの場合のみ
    撮れてる感はでると思いますが
    実際は 途中から微妙にテンポ変わってるんだと思います。

    ZOOMはG3、G1onX、B1と 安いのに使えるメーカーとして手元に何機もありますが
    初めてハズレを引いた感があります

    －－－－－追記ーーーーーーー（自己責任で）

    見つけた、、、、、！
    ついに、、、、、、！
    まさに盲点、、、！青天の霹靂、、、！

    見つけましたよ、ええ、音ズレの原因を
    ズバリ、ダイレクトモニタリング端子の関係です

    まず、zoom iq7本体にはダイレクトモニター用の3.5mmイヤホンジャックが付いています。
    演奏時にはこちらにイヤホンを刺し、モニターしながら演奏します

    ですが、重ね撮りの際 ダイレクトモニターのジャックにイヤホンを指すと
    入力の音は本機後ろの
    ダイヤルでコントロールできますが
    出力側（先に撮った方）の音量は調節出来ません
    iphone横のボリュームボタンいじっても変わりません
    鼓膜が破れるレベルで 先撮りの出力音がイヤホンからなっています

    ではどうするか？

    ここが第1のミス
    iphoneのイヤホンジャックにイヤホンを指す

    この状態だと
    マイク入力は IQ7
    音声出力は iphoneイヤホンジャック
    となります

    と、なると、、、、、

    当然、起こる、、、、、！

    機器間（iq7⇄ iphone）の微妙な差、、、、！

    レイテンシー、、、、！

    遅延、、、、、！

    いや、ダイレクトモニターの方にも ミキサー的なダイヤルつけてって感じなんですけどね

    対処法としては
    iq7 のダイレクトモニターとイヤホンの間にボリューム調整の機材を挟むことです

    それも、ボリュームボタンを押すことで
    iphone側のボリュームが変わるものでなく

    その機器単体にボリューム調整機能がついているものです

    自分の場合 フォン（オス）ー3.5mm（オス） 変換ケーブルがあったので
    zoom iq7→変換ケーブル→ベリンガー mx400（音量調整用のミキサー。コンセントいるのが難点）→フォン端子→3.5mm変換プラグ→イヤホン というものごっつ面倒くさい接続をし
    ダイレクトモニターの音量を調節できるようにしました。

    その状態で動画撮影、、、、ほぼ音ズレなし（0.2秒とかそんなレベル。アプリ依存の遅延の可能性のが高い） 多重録音、、、、（0.2秒とか以下略

    多分、開発者の方向性として
    『マイク』ではなく『レコーダー』
    として作られたものなんでしょうね

    音楽制作（重ね撮り、ミックス作業）や iphone内で何か音を鳴らしながら合わせる行為 等を行う時は
    ダイレクトモニターを使いましょう。ただし、音量調整が出来ず 爆音のため間にミキサーかポータブルアンプ等をかませ、調節できるようにしましょう
