From the manufacturer

3D Solutech

3D Printer Filament

Ultra Smooth Technology

3D Solutech filament performs in a smooth and clean printing process. We only use high-purity polylactic-acid masterbatch and making your 3D printing project look soft and delicate every time.

3D Printer Filament

Triple Barrel Color Enriching Technology

Our filaments went through three barrels of the color mixing process to enrich the masterbatch. Three times deeper and richer than regular filaments gives you an enhanced color saturation.

3D Printer Filament

Anti-Stringing & warping Technology

In our further study and research in Polylactic-Acid, We have mixed it with a special high-composite compound, giving the PLA filament a certain degree of natural resistance to moisture. Resulted in very few stringing and warping while printing the filament.

3D Printer Filament

HIgh Compatibility

High Compatibility

We had tested in over 30 of the most popular 3D printers on the market, and we had designed the best suitable spool size that can be used in most 3D printers on the market.

Vacuum Sealed

Vacuum Sealed

Our filaments arrive at vacuum sealed to ensure the best performance of the filaments. Keeps moisture out and protects the filaments along the way.

3D-Printing Pen Friendly

3D-Printing Pen Friendly

Our filament is mainly used in 3D printers, but with a 1.75 mm filament diameter, our PLA filament fits most 3D printing pens on the market. Huge money saving compares to 3D printing pen filaments.

Good Finish! But see if you can live with other factors...
First, I received this filament back in June 2020. It was unopened because I don't not open any filament rolls unless I have a project that's worth starting with a brand new roll of filament. The Plus: Great price, excellent finish, great adhesion, prints excellent at 200 deg at the nozzles and 60 deg on the bed.The Cons: Great price but it might be that you get what you paid for.Extremely brittle even when it's fresh out of it's sealed packing. The raft is extremely light, very sharp, very brittle and will scatter everywhere if you aren't careful! Eye glasses recommended when de-rafting prints!!!The prints have a flint glass like feel to them. If you stress them too much they will crack or break like brittle glass. Finally, the raw filament doesn't need any excuses to break. Do not put the open end of the filament back into the holes on the side of the filament roll. Try to tape it or simply rest it to the inside of the roll instead because it gets so brittle that it will break if you stick it into the holes. Finally, unload it once your print is done. Filament will break at the point where the extruder gear applies pressure on it when the printer is not running.I will expend this filament completely because storing it any longer (even in a humid free environment) won't keep it from going brittle.
    Thank you for your feedback

This is my first spool of PLA, my first spool of this brand of filament, and it's actually my first non-UP! (PP3D) branded filament I've ever used. I'm only about 1/4 of the way thru the spool, so this review is based on my first few uses, and I'll update if anything changes.

I was originally very nervous about which brand to buy based on all of the reviews I had read, but this one has been great so far!

The spool arrived well-packed with good presentation in the carton. Inside the package, the filament was vacuum sealed in an airtight, translucent plastic bag. Even the spool itself has a sturdy feel, and it was plenty large to contain the full kg of material without any unspooling during the occasionally unwieldy process of loading material. Overall, it provided a good initial impression of a quality product that have me confidence in running it thru my machine.

One thing to note is that this full kg spool is significantly larger than the standard UP! spools, so a quick visit to Thingiverse, some 3D tweaking for my tastes, and a print job were required to get a spool holder made for this material to fit onto my UP! printer in the same manner as stock.

Once I got the new filament holder printed and my finicky UP! printer to unload the old ABS filament, it has been smooth sailing. The filament appears clean, dry, and free of residue. The translucent color is consistent light grey / off white. The filament has not tangled and unspools easily. Every print job has successfully completed with high quality. I have printed with shell-only settings, full fill, sparse fill, and up to 45-degree overhangs with no issues. This material has given me reason to try geometry and print settings that I would not attempt with ABS, so I am very happy with it and look forward to trying other colors.

      To summarize:
      + clean, dry, consistent
      + no tangling
      + works with UP! temperatures
      + consistent clear 'color'
+ quality spool large enough for 1 kg
      + made in USA
      + great value!

      - larger spool holder needed for UP! printer ( though I knew this and don't deduct any points)

So this was the first roll of 3D Solutech that I purchased among my many rolls of filaments from other manufacturers. This particular roll is for a project that I am just now getting to. After running the filament for my testing I am not surprised, I am amazed at the overall performance of this product. I am comparing it to Ziro3D, Pxmalion and NovaMaker to name a few. It prints better, in my opinion, than NovaMaker as well as Ziro3D. Ziro3D is a great filament as are the other two I mentioned, however this 3D Solutech works great, prints smooth looks good and has great layer adhesion. I am planning on purchasing many more rolls of filament from 3D Solutech in the future. A great product - WELL DONE 3D Solutech!!! And thank you for putting a great product at a great price point for the 3D Printing Community.

      12/26/2017 UPDATE
I wanted to add this update as I felt it necessary to again stress the products quality.
With my printer, an Flsun I3 late 2017 Version, this filament with the most basic of settings for PLA, I am able to print this to a nice white or pretty damn close to very, very clear. The layer adhesion and consistent diameter are excellent.. In fact, for smaller parts or letters, there is minimal yellowing when cool white LED Light is applied. This is just good stuff!!!

3D Solutech's Natural Clear PLA is simply amazing. Sure, it's not really clear, more like translucent clear, but this stuff prints like a charm, perrfect every time. The quality of the filament is superior to many I have tried, and the adhesion and layer quality is just amazing (the spiralized tree in the photo is on an old printer that has some issues, layers etc. not due to the filament). The printed result is shiny and picks up light in a way that gives prints a rainbow glistening effect. I bought a few more of this filament, and have added it to my growing collection of Solutech PLA - great stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buen filamento
Reviewed in Mexico on February 21, 2018
      Bueno , bonito y barato
