This cable is a must for any Baofeng owner's support kit. With it, you can quickly & easily make sure that all of your group's or new user's radios are programmed the same, ie when one says to "Go to Ch 7" you all end up at the same freq! Well worth te $'s! .

Did not work with Baofeng BF-F8+ firmwares HN5RV01-1FB297 or HN5RV01-1. My radios don't initiate copying mode when holding down the MONI key. I have ten radios I maintain, and I thought this would work as a nice addition to my toolkit. Disappointed. :(
When trying to clone Baofeng UV-82's if there are other settings/memories on the slave unit this cable does not erase higher channels that are not set on the master unit. Not able to use, please keep in mind.
