this is the problem with these supplements, you take them, and firstly hope they do not have negative side effects and secondly that they work to the extent their claims go.

so as stated in the headline cannot gauge the effects, at least yet, and for sure not even later, otherwise doctors will prescribe it.

anyway, the 4-star overall rating is for "take 1 1/3 tablespoons daily'.
that's cruel :), how can one accurately get that 1/3 :), not to mention tablespoons are of various sizes, close in size, but there is no standard tablespoon size.

how difficult would have been to include a scoop?

I've got PTSD, depression and anxiety and an ongoing traumatic family situation. I've recently come to realize that, with my background, extra attention to brain health should be more of a priority. I'm doing pretty well with medication but energy and motivation are still challenges at times. I'm a super positive and happy person and I take medication for my challenges, so I know it's not attitude, but brain chemicals, etc. It's really hard when you WANT to accomplish certain things but your body/brain won't let you carry it out.

So...I ordered the Sunflower lecithin this week after reading about the cognitive benefits. I wasn't expecting instant results but later in the day I was suddenly energized to work on my to do list. This is after the workday, when I usually just want to veg out on the couch. I realized it had to be the lecithin.

Regarding the energy boost let me clarify: it wasn't like coffee or caffeine - it just felt like a natural continuation of the energy I probably have at the beginning of the day when I'd like to think I can do "all the things" but in reality end up losing steam a lot sooner than I'd like. I tried vegging out just out of habit after work but at some point my mind was kind of honing in on another task I could be doing, so at some point I just got up and got busy. Once I got going I couldn't believe how good it felt and how focused I was. Mind you this was day one trying the product.

I add this to my coffee, which may not be the best idea due to the heat and that it may destroy some of the nutrients. Nevertheless the flavor works and the product dissolves well after stirring a bit and I seem to still be having positive results. I saw someone post that they have been drinking it daily in their tea and felt it was effective, so I figured I'd do it with coffee.

I'm on day 2 and feeling a lot more upbeat than usual after having it again in my coffee.

I'm excited to see what will happen with longer term use. So far I'm a huge fan and plan to continue to incorporate this into my overall health maintenance plan. I wish more people knew about products that could help their brain health.

I have arterial sclerosis so put lecithin in my food to help dissolve the plaque. I have seen lecithin do that with other people and it has actually helped other people that I know bring down their blood pressure so decided to try it myself. I have never had high blood pressure so I can't really tell if it is eating away the plaque in my veins but I believe it is. I will be able to tell the next time I get a sonogram or MRI. Till then I assume it is helping based on my observation of others. It tastes OK and isn't made with soy.

Great stuff. easy to mix BUT --- 1 tablespoon a day for three days started cleaning my liver.
day 1. felt ok
day 2. loads of stomach acid.
day 3. Diarrhea all day and nausea making my head swim. Stopped taking it.
day 4. nausea and queasy gut. Increased pain in my joints.
looked it up and found that men should have 550 mg and women 425 mg a day. So the dose was WAY TOO MUCH, particularly as we eat eggs which are high in choline. Also, that it stimulates the flow of bile - I have no gall bladder - and that it indeed does cleanse the liver. Also, I read that omega 6 in sunflower lecithin is PRO INFLAMMATORY. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, so obviously it is bad for me.

I bought this for the Phosphatidyl choline which is recommended for men over 40. I take 1.5 g a day. Spread over 2 doses in the day.

Sunflower Lecithin is a better form than Soya due to the harsh extraction method from Soya.

The powder is an orange clumpy powder. I dissolve it in milk or put it in porridge in the morning. It dissolves well and makes a creamier porridge.

This has little flavour, but what is has is pleasant.

Im taking this with several other new supplements so hopefully it revitalises my body and mind.
