Good Heavy Duty Straps

I have used these several times now to haul lumber, and plywood on my trailer and they have performed well for me. They have an all metal ratchet, wide strong straps, and are easy to adjust. The four stars (would have given 4 1/2) is just for the hook. It is rubber coated metal and seems very strong, but I wish it had a little more curve to it. I have large tie down attachment points and they work well when the strap is tight, but is a little hard to keep it hooked when you walk to the other side of the trailer to hook up the ratchet end. Maybe I will get better with this or I will just bend the hook a little more. I do like these straps and they are easy to adjust/use at any length. I have used these adjusted down to 5' and all the way to 14'. I will buy these again if I need any more straps.

Arrive yesterday and already using these ratchet straps. The quality is good, and they work well. My only reservation is that the 1 1/2 inch webbing is not the very highest quality, a little bit thinner than I had expected. Also the sewing of the webbing is imperfect in a few places. I understand that cost pressures are extreme with these products, and perfection wil cost more. At this point, I feel they are good and I expect to use them for a long time.

One other small point. The double "J" hooks are indeed robust, but they are also almost 7/8 inch wide. Check the opening into which you need to set your hooks. In my case, I will be doing a bit of surgery to widen the attach holes. Even so, I appreciate the fact that they are strong!

I used these ratchet straps to secure my stuff inside a Upack Relo Cube when moving . I should have gotten ones with shorter straps because they are so long they need to be looped back and hooked on the hook. I also had the clips with a ring that fit the fixtures inside the Cube. They are strong and really held being tightened down the whole time the Cube was transported.

Over 2 years of use and still great!!! Buying 4 more.

When in use they have been thru rain and Florida sun most days. They are used to hold down my tractors bat wing and a side by side while transporting. I've used them to secure a car to a trailer as well and I feel for the money these are great straps. I am writing a review 2 years later because I have some other light to medium duty straps that are about 5 years old and end of life. I am buying 4 more of these straps because the first set has worked out so well. I bet they will last a couple more years still im sure.
