Good value for money

It says 256GB on the package, but they built a 240GB chip on it (see picture). I only noticed it when installing it in my laptop and looked at the bottom.
EDIT: According to the manufacturer's reply, this is because 16GB are used for performance reasons (probably to make up for blocks that become unusable due to excessive writing).

Also, the speed does not even come close to what they write on the packaging. They claim read speeds of "up to" 545 MB/s and write speeds of up to 430MB/s (see picture of packaging) but they don't reach these rates even in their own measurments [...].
EDIT: The 430MB/s are based on ATTO-Measurements. Those values are pretty far away from CrystalDiskMark values. All in all it is still a very fast drive for a competitive price.

I put this in my T440 to run virtual machines off of, and it is impressive. My only grow is that it only has two 64GB NAND flash chips. But that is not so much a flaw of this product as it is the form factor. There really isn't physically any more available space on the drive.

I work in IT, and I am a Linux nerd. So having been dropped in an all windows environment can be frustrating. But having this drive will allow me to have my familiar environment closer at hand.

I would highly recommend one of these SSDs. Just beware that the super boot eco has different flash than the non eco. These drives have high quality Toshiba toggle nand, while the eco has micron synchronous nand. Both are excellent... But the Toshiba is better.

A layman's review. It's a good product

I've had this in my computer for a month and am for the most part happy. This was fairly simple to install in a Lenovo Thinkpad T440s. It took about 20 minutes to change the BIOS, remove the bottom, install, and then attach the bottom back on. The most difficult part was removing the bottom of the laptop. A couple screws didn't want to release completely for some reason. Google search will turn up numerous tutorials for installing in a T440s. The tutorials will walk you thru the necessary BIOS changes (to turn the internal battery off while you install it). Since my computer already had a 256GB SSD as the main drive, the m.2 slot was open. Once installed I had to format the drive before it was recognized.
Again, since I already had an SSD, my plan was to install a different operating system (OS X), but after use I decided to go back and just use this as storage. Before I had selected certain folders on cloud storage accounts to download onto the computer, now I keep all files synced, about 100 GB worth. This makes working without a wifi connection much easier. It even allows me to extend the battery life by turning off wifi until I need to sync. I also downloaded a few movies to have on trips.
I got 202 GB of usable space. Nowhere near 256GB and not close to the 240 or so others report. It would be nice to have more capacity, since that's what I paid for.
As far as speed, it's fast enough. Just to test, after I had taken OS X off and reformatted, I mirrored Windows and ran thru several boots on either hard drives. With Windows 10 I averaged 9 seconds to the logon screen, another 7 seconds to the Windows desktop on this SSD. On the main SSD I averaged 8 seconds to logon screen and another 7 seconds to Windows desktop. Not a scientific test, but for the average user, the conclusion is, this is fast and much faster than an old spinning hard drive.
This did come with a screw (and tiny screwdriver) for installation, but my computer already had a screw in the M.2 slot so I used that one instead.

To be clear, this product had been simply 5 star to me since day 1 for ~10 months through 3 days ago when it suddenly stopped working. It was affordable price, and perfectly did what it was supposed to do, which just meant 5 star to me. I was very happy with it. Even when it stopped working, I still understand it could just happen with any industrial product. That doesn’t really affect 5 star. Yet. Okay, I went to the manufacturer website, and simply submitted RMA request with detail explanation (including several hours investigation on the web and several trial/error for revival). I would expect 24 hour turnaround for the initial response at least, which I personally think fair expectation. Some manufacturer pleasantly surprises me with early response. I’ve waited for first 24 hours patiently, but no response. I decided to send an email to support with explanation, and waited for response. 48 hours passed. I sent reminder email again. Also tried to send tweet via twitter which seems active. 72 hours passed with no response. Sorry, 5 star has been pretty deteriorated down to the bottom during 72 hours. I still would like to hear from you, mydigitalssd, could you please respond at least, or could you tell me what happened with you or am I asking too much?

Easy to physically install; more effort to configure; works splendidly.

I installed this Super Boot Drive into my Lenovo Flex laptop, which has a Next Generation Form Factor or NGFF connection on its motherboard.

Long story short: it works great; the computer boots fast and runs significantly cooler. The included screw is the wrong size for the Lenovo, but would probably work with many other computers/laptops.

The physical installation was simple: open the case, insert the NGFF card, tighten the screw to lock it down, close the case and that part is done. It's the configuration and transfering of your operating system that is much more complicated, but still fairly easy to accomplish. First, I changed my BIOS to allow me to copy the original operating system and programs using a utility by disabling UEFI. Since my old drive was one of the Seagate brands, I used a Seagate-downloaded utility (a crippled version of Acronis) to copy the drive onto this NGFF boot drive. Once that was accomplished, I booted from the newly installed card (much faster) and made sure everything was working before changing the BIOS again to enable UEFI. I kept the old hard drive as a data drive.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a modest amount of technical skill and confidence, along with the appropriate hardware that can handle this kind of drive. You won't be disappointed.
