Product Description
This Copper Shims thermal conductivity up to 401w / mk, and ordinary copper thermal conductivity is only 20-30w / mk
CPU and GPU graphics card in the inside part of the laptop using a thermal plastic thermal conductivity, thermal plastic
at high temperature for a long time easy to aging, and ultimately lost, leading to overheating of the CPU or GPU, the
Laptop will not start after overheating. And this copper heat sink solve thermal problems caused by frequent crashes laptop, etc
Package included:
20 pcs Thermal Conductive Copper Shims 20mm x 20mm x 0.5mm

Will update after I get the other parts on the heat dissipation the do or do not help with
They all measure out between .29 and .31 mm, with most of them being spot on at .3mm
All of the together measured 5.41mm, 18*.3 would be 5.4mm, so almost spot on. So, I know none were stuck together and I only received 18 of the 20.
Other than that, they seem fine. Some edges will need to be sanded down if you want them perfectly flat. But otherwise they seem good.
now no errors. Just make sure to put thermal paste on both sides of the spacer.
If it matters to you, thsee shims are exactly the dimensions of the 9700 series AMD gpu's so if you are rough with the cooler you're going to wiggle it around and potentially scoot it off the GPU. Also, be careful not to use too much thermal paste :-D

My laptop kept on overheating and the fan was constantly on. I knew this was not a good sign, something had to be done.
I did some research and found that on many low to mid end laptops, the component used to cool down the processor/graphics card, is made of a low grade thermal material. Overtime the material can degrade and lose the ability to cool down the CPU adequately, which in turn causes the overheating.
Copper has a high thermal conductivity which means it is very effective in drawing out the heat from where needed. The manufacturer claims the copper shims have a much higher thermal conductivity than ordinary copper.
