Easy to pair and transmits audio music clearly, this device works well!

Update: I just found out in a comment from a customer that an AC USB wall charger is no longer included with this product. You can use the charging cable to charge the device with your computer's USB port or any AC USB wall charger that you own.

It is important for you to note that this device only transmits audio via Bluetooth and it is not a Bluetooth receiver.

The transmitter comes with a 48 inch long charging cable that you can use to charge it with using your computer's USB port or the USB AC wall charger that comes with the unit. One end of the cable is a standard USB jack and the other is a Mini USB jack. The AC wall charger is rated at 100 to 240 VAC and 50/60 Hz. Its output is 5 VDC at 500 mA. The transmitter weighs ½ of an ounce.

The transmitter has a 3.5 mm stereo jack that can plug into the headphone jacks of a non-Bluetooth device. I used the transmitter that way to convert my Kindle Fire into a Bluetooth compatible tablet. I show this in my video. The transmitter will not work with a monaural output or with one that needs to take and receive phone calls. On the front face is a multifunction on/off button that is also used to pair the transmitter with your Bluetooth receiver. There is also a charging port on the top and when you plug in the charging cable the LED on the unit turns red and indicates that the device is charging. When the unit is charged the LED turns off. It is recommended to charge the unit the first time for 4 hours to make sure that it is fully charged.

In the video I show how to pair the transmitter with a Bluetooth remote speaker and the process was simple and easy. Turn on the Bluetooth receiver unit and then press and hold the transmitter on button for 5 to 6 seconds until the LED begins to flash blue and red. The pairing took place quickly and easily. The audio was transmitted clearly and the connection worked perfectly. Please remember that the audio output sound level of the speaker you are using depends on the audio setting of the smart device you are using (My Kindle Fire for example) and the volume setting of the speaker itself. There is an interaction between those two settings. When you press the button for three seconds the unit will come on and when you press it for three seconds it will turn off. When I turned the unit back on it automatically paired to the last device that it was connected with as long as that smart device has not been paired to any other Bluetooth item.

Using this device was fast and easy. You can use it in many different ways and it works well. You can use it with your TV, stereo, Kindle products, MP3 players, MP4 products, CD players or computers. There are no drivers required and installation is simple. The unit will operate for 4 hours on a full charge and it is rechargeable up to about 500 times. It can be on and in standby mode for 80 hours. Per the Amazon web page the unit will not pair while it is charging. The Bluetooth transmission distance is about 33 feet but when pairing it is best to have the unit within about 3 feet of your receiving device.

I rate this item as a 5 stars because it works well and it performed as it was specified.

Love this thing

This transmitter is was a godsend. It works beautifully and was very easy to setup. I've personally got mine running through the output from my TV and the internal battery ensures it will always be ready to go. TV charges it when its on and the battery will keep it up and running until the set is powered on once more.

The device without fail remembers and automatically connects to either of my stereo headsets upon powering them on so I don't need to worry about getting up to pair anything. its all one and done. I'm now able to hear my PlayStation at night when the rest of the house is sleeping or the girlfriend and I can both sync up to it to watch movies while the baby sleeps. Whatever is output through my TV is now simultaneously output through the transmitter. I love that it accepts multiple headsets at once though I haven't tested exactly how many so far, just the two I own currently.

I retract one star due to the short audio cable and for most that won't be an issue, but when its run like I have it setup the television cuts down the range somewhat and that's a bit of a bummer. also there is a slight lag in the audio but personally its nothing that bothers me much and in fact I've noticed that as long as the televisions audio is off my brain makes up for the difference pretty well.

Unconfines HD Radio and Literally Takes Audio To The Next Level

Variation On A Theme - done right

As other reviewers mentioned, this is an upgraded version of the TT-BA01 bluetooth transmitter. To avoid confusion, this is a transmitter and not a receiver, which means the communication is 1-way (FROM your laptop/speaker/tv, etc. TO your bluetooth headphones/speakers).

Summary of upgrades (why I think this version is better than the previous gen TT-BA01):
1. Power plug has been changed from mini usb to micro usb, so android owners will find this super helpful (one charger to rule them all)
2. Bluetooth LED has been moved from the face of the device to the side that has the 3mm audio jack. This seems trivial, but for me it was annoying to see a constant blinking light of the previous generation TT-BA01 under my desk or behind the TV.
3. Packaging: not a huge deal, but it comes in a nice box as opposed to that flat plastic packaging we all love opening so much. Plus, it's easier to wrap and makes a great-looking gift for someone who loves gadgets.

Primarily, I use the transmitter with an A2DP bluetooth interface devices (Bose AE2w headset/headphones). If you play Rocksmith (and are terrible at it like me) this is perfect in keeping the neighbors and your girlfriend/boyfriend off your back-- just plug it in, pair it with your headphones and start shredding. The previous version that I have of this thing, I took to work, and got rid of the insufferably long headphone wire, that I keep running over with my chair.

This is definitely a must have in every home, office and gaming room. Great quality, great sound, buy it.
