My gastroenterologist recommended 2 tablespoons of flax seed every day, so I have long purchased this brand at my grocery store. Lately, I have unable to find it at the store, so I have begun buying it on Amazon. I use it in cereal, oatmeal, pancakes and yogurt. I can't say that is has a taste, but it blends well, although it doesn't disolve. I keep it in the refrigerator after opening and it stays fresh for a long time. A great buy for fiber, protein and omega 3's.
