This will be the 3rd set of Apple Watch adapters I have purchased (and now returned). I got the "aluminum" ones to match my 42mm Sport model. Finish is matte, but not a color match. There is also this issue (I've now seen repeatedly with all these 3rd party adapters) where once you put the watch on your wrist there is a significant gap between the adapter and the watch. It almost looks like over time the adapter could come out. I figured I was just being overly critical or obsessive about it, until I saw a buddy with the true Apple Watch stainless steel watch with the Apple link adapter. It stays flush with the watch and no gaps... We put the link bracelet onto my watch and no gaps there either... I can now count out being crazy and there being something messed up about my watch's lug ports. Anyways, I would love for a company to make a decent adapter that doesn't look like garbage, that matches the true Apple Watch Sport finish / color AND fits snug into the lug ports. If anyone knows where to get this, please tell me.

I don't like the straps for the Apple Watch that Apple currently has in their lineup, I really prefer a nylon NATO-styled strap. After a couple days looking around Amazon and the rest of the internet I noticed there were a couple designs for adapters that cost more through crowd-funded websites and the rest of the third party adapters like this one. I decided not to go with the more solid-looking crowdfunded adapters despite their apparent build quality because most of them haven't begun shipping. This adapter I imagine is the same build quality as any other of the same design from a third party manufacturer, which is to say probably not the greatest. The adapter arrived at an average speed and upon arrival I got to setting it up. I tightened the screws as firmly as possible without stripping the heads, and popped it on to my Apple Watch. The setup looked great! Unfortunately it only lasted three days. One of the screws holding the adapter together broke. I wasn't doing anything especially taxing on the watch while it broke, just walking around my work from one location to another. Given the low cost of entry I can't be too surprised or bummed about it, but I'd really rather have not wasted my time or any amount of money on something that would break so quickly. If you do decide to buy this one, maybe some super glue or Loctite would help, but then the adapter loses its ability to work with multiple bands for your watch. Good luck.

Update July 24 got a band the large bars fit in but on attaching it the Button in the middle popped out and the springs shot out I lost a screw and one spring DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS POORLY MADE OH and I'm 4 days past the window so I can't return or exchange

This is a great product at a fair price. I would have liked to have seen more care in the packaging - the items come in a paper envelope with part of the adapter in a bag with the screws, and the other half loose in the paper. Additionally, with the screws being so tiny I would have loved to hav been provided an extra or two.
Ultimately this adapter fits the Apple Watch well, and the finish matches up nicely. I would recommend this to friends, and plan to buy 1 or 2 more for other bands.
