Due to popular demands on exporting the project, I have updated the app so that you can export it to Famitracker. With Famitracker you can easily export WAV and NSF files.
• Tracker like interface (if you have ever used Famitracker this can be very easy to learn)
• Customizable interface like accent colors and background
• Famitracker (http://famitracker.com/) compatibility! This app export text files that's importable via Famitracker! You can export NSF/WAV files via Famitracker!

Ok, so this app is good for what it is, however it's very confusing for people trying to learn how to make chiptunes. Their help site ironically needs it's own help, as it's all in I think japanese.......? It was difficult to navigate, so I didn't get anything out of it, especially since Silk browser couldn't translate it. Also, I think this app may need a much better form of a "help" option, one that explains what each track does, what type of sounds it produces, etc. So if you're looking for something simple, and you are experienced with this kind of stuff, give it a go.
The app's realistic chiptune sounds are great, especially for a free app, but every note is off by a key. Not only that, but playing music, it never seems to stay with a beat.
It's super easy to make tracks just by sounding things out. Seriously, I have zero experience making chiptune music and this taught me enough to be able to make my own music with LSDJ on a Game Boy. What's even cooler is having the ability to export tracks to Famitracker so that you can get your newly created music into your homebrew NES game or ROMhack. This is a brilliant app and it's free! I want to offer a personal thank you to the creators of this app. Music was the last hurdle I needed to clear for my upcoming NES game. I'm pretty much finished now thanks to 8Tones.
A great application to create small 8-bit tunes. Interface is easy to use. Nothing to fancy; you get five tracks (I think) for parts. The only problem I have is deleting song from the list, for I have no idea if I can do that. One thing I do wish, however, that there was a way to save mp3'S of a song onto the device.
All in all, it's nice, yet simple app to make tunes with!
Amazing! Old school tracker style that's pretty simple but makes some great chippy sounds. I've been looking for something like this, thanks! Pretty basic as fa
