I wanted to use these for a baby shower. The guests were to use markers and create blocks for the new baby. The blocks were perfect! Smooth surface, no splinters. Gave everyone a chance to get their Artsy side going and we had a load of fun! Perfect blocks for this activity!

These are perfect for my intended use. I searched for simple short legs for a little shoe shelf that I put together. Everything that was made for furniture was priced at $35 per piece or more and they were all too long. Then on a whim I searched for wooden blocks. It was a stroke of genius. I hit upon these. These were a very high quality which made me regret by the "made in china" ones from Michaels. I would suggest the sell them in bundles of 15 because that is how many is needed to make alphabet blocks to have 2 letters on each block. The blocks from Michaels where very light in weight and color compared to these high quality blocks. I will be a repeat customer!!!

Blocks arrived very quickly and good quality - smooth finish and with no scratches or visible imperfections, wood appears to be of good quality and uniform across the blocks (I ordered 3 packs). I am planning to use these to make baby blocks so I am sanding the corners and edges since those are pretty sharp.
