In the first few pages of this book, pictures of fire, salt and a shelving unit set up cover much of the type. The same as in another book of hers I have. In fact they seem to be the same pictures.
Pictures also cover many of the ingredient lists in this book , in other recipes the directions are covered.
A review back in 6/15 commented on this, did the author think it wasn't worth fixing?.
I won't waste my time on any more of her books.

As in the other canning book by this author, the pictures are covering most of the ingredients throughout the book. I love the idea of pictures in cookbooks, but without all the ingredients listed, how do you prepare the recipes? Please address this issue soon.

I see the problem was already addressed a year ago, but still the pictures cover the ingredients on most of the recipes making this book useless. I wish I had read the reviews first.

The third book on preserving I've read by this author. PLEASE, keep them coming. Such amazing teaching skills it's spectacular. After reading any of Patrick's books on preserving you automatically become an expert on the issue. Needless to say I can & preserve everything these days. THANKS PATRICK!

I am just now starting to do canning and preserving and I love this beginners guide to preserving desserts. This has great recipes for desserts and I am a huge fan of healthy desserts. They are so easy to make "dessert in a jar".... whoever thought

The book is unusable as many of the images overlap and obscure the text. Hopefully the author can correct this.
