Easier than ever to set up - it pops up almost by itself. Refolding it is another story! The directions are on the back of the photo that is on the outside of the bag. Save them!
I don't know if the picture of the man sitting alone inside his screened tent is the best choice for advertising and SELLING this product. I picture the same scenery but two little girls playing on a blanket, possibly eating a picnic lunch. Throw about 50 wasps (or more - think of the movie The Birds) looking for a way into the tent. Okay, no wasps needed, but that is the reason I purchased the tent. My granddaughter loves to picnic, but we have a bad wasp problem in Eastern Washington. Pull out food... it's like an invitation to wasps to join the lunch. I'd love to see one side or possibly two that had a shade that could be rolled up to use when it is hot out.
I had one of these shade tents before this purchase. I do not remember where I got it, but it was considerably less expensive. My memory puts the cost at about half of what I paid here. We set it up with one of the plastic kiddie pools inside for my granddaughter. One night I decided to empty and clean the pool. Wouldn't you know we would have a windstorm that night! The next morning my pop up tent was gone. Lesson - stake down your tent or keep something heavy inside it... or fold it up when not in use. Obviously I loved the tent, since I purchased another one at twice the cost.
I purchased one of these screen tents for the two of us. You can easily put in four chairs though. I love how easy it is for me to set up and take down. My grandchildren love using it when we camp for their toys. I only have one complaint. The screen fabric is not tight enough to keep out the "Can't See Umms". Mosquitoes yes but not those tiny bugs. Wish it had fold down rain flaps too. Otherwise we love it.
This was a fantastic addition to our camping kit! We used this outside our RV for a week straight and it was PERFECT! Just enough room for a couple of chairs, cooler, small table. Plastic bottom was good for keeping out crawly critters and damp ground. Top fabric provided just enough shade, and we clipped an old sheet to one side during bright sun times. Overall, this was a very worthwhile investment. Also sturdy enough that our two small dogs were able to stay in there with no issues.
Framing isn't perfect so it leans on one side. I bought it to put plants inside so butterflies can't get to them until I am ready so not for usage that most people would have. I have it sitting on a concrete patio and it was stable without stakes but we were going to get some winds so I did anchor two sides. The zipper doorway you do have to step over, if it went lower it would be better but really not an issue.
Works just fine...makes a great backyard bedroom when misquitoes are thick (and it's not raining). Haven't tried twisting it back into the storage bag yet, but it must be doable. We'll see.
