4x Accessories

Step for use

1. Remove the film from each acrylic panel(The film is transparent)
2. Put aside the panel
3. Select one of the four plain acrylic panels
4. Push the threaded end of a steel screw through the bottom of the panel

5. Slide a plastic spacer over the steel screw; repeat these two steps (4 & 5) with three more screws
6. Align the holes on a Raspberry Pi 2 motherboard with the four screws. Lower the motherboard, guiding the screws through the holes
7. Secure the motherboard by threading a nut onto each of the screws. Finger tighten -- do not use tools or you may overtighten
8. Repeat steps 3-7 with the next three plain acrylic panels. For any panels that do not have a motherboard, just thread a nut onto each of the screws.
9. Select one of the assembled plain panels as the case bottom panel
10. Push the threaded end of four (4) short brass posts through the corner holes in the case bottom panel
9. Align a long brass post with the threaded end of the brass posts in each of the corner holes and turn the long brass post until finger tight
10. Stand the bottom panel on the short posts with the long posts extending up from the panel
11. Push the threaded end of the four long brass posts through the corner holes of the next panel that you want to attach
12. Repeat steps 9 and 11 until all four plain acrylic panels are attached
13. Push the threaded end of the top long brass posts through the panel with the Raspberry Pi logo
14. Secure the top panel to the posts using four round-head nuts

15. Assembly is complete

A great product, modular and extensible design with few limitations

I bought this for my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, oDroid C1 and oDroid U3. For the U3, I needed to drill separate mounting holes. This product is well designed and perfect for my use. The pieces come well packed, and are easy to assemble. Though the product supports 'only' four SBCs, and is listed as supporting only Raspberry Pi, the oDroid C1 fits perfectly (hole spacing on the board is the same as the Raspi), andother SBCs can also be accommodated if you are handy with a drill press.

Also, if you have more than 4 SBCs, you can buy more than one of these, and if you wish, you can mount more than 4 'shelves'. The design is modular, and extensible. Looks aesthetic and minimalist too. If I acquire more SBCs, I will surely buy another one

Good enough, but some heatsinks aren't going to fit as shipped.

Ok, but for a silly mm, I can't use some of the heatsinks. If the board spacers were 5mm instead of 4mm, I would be golden.

Also, though the mention a plate with a logo cutout, and the pictures depict the same, I had all plain plates. Guess that's what I get for not paying 50% more for a competing product? I can live with it, but...

You will get some extra M3 standoffs because they are included in hardware for each layer. A plus is that each layer's hardware is packaged in its own little bag, so you can stack this as high as you care to and not misplace any.

In all, I would choose this product if I decide to expand my little berry farm. Now that I know, I can work around the minimal shortcomings and the lack of a logo cutout isn't going to give me twitches..

Works as described. Bit fiddly to assemble. Make sure you are not already tired when you start assembling as it could prompt some unrepeatable comments. Use a serving tray to catch those uncooperative fiddly bits. I needed to also use small point nose pliers and small screwdriver. I used it as part of my Raspberry Pi cluster assembly. Instructions referred to one sheet having the Raspberry Pi Logo on it, but none of them did. I am not sure if that was a good thing or not.

Functional and affordable. While not as fancy as the Geauxrobot cases that have mounting holes for older generation RPis and a smaller form-factor, this case is functional and sturdy. All necessary hardware is included and the Raspberry on the top is a nice touch. For me its a bit larger than I had expected but, nonethless, it gets the job done. I am only giving this 4 stars because the packaging isn't really professional. I received the case in a zip lock baggie with 3 additional zip lock baggies containing parts. It was really lack-luster when it arrived and the size is a bit too large for my liking but that shouldn't stop me from giving a decent rating.

Works with ODROID C2 SBC -- good value, not great quality

Works great for ODROID C2 SBCs. I used this "case" to house a cluster of 4 ODROID C2s. Note that the eMMC cards are on the bottom of the SBC and require complete dissasembly of the Qunqi Enclosure to access - if you need to reflash. Some quality issues as screw threads were not clean and needed to be torqued a bit. Would have been nice to have extra screws, posts. Look at enclosure pictures carefully before assembling as it is easy to gets things upside-down. Good value if not great quality.

Put simply, it’s a great enclosure and does exactly what I wanted by holding three Pis, a USB charger and a network switch. Quality Control Lacking

I bought two of these. Both had an acrylic sheet that had holes that were not completely drilled through. That is, I only received sufficient material to create two 3-layer cases. Fortunately, I still had enough materials between the two to accomplish what I needed to do on time. But, I did not receive the full value of my purchase. UPDATE: The holes that appeared incomplete were, in fact, complete. The holes penetrated the acrylic sheet completely but had not penetrated the underlying layer of protective paper. When I removed the protective paper, a few small plugs of acrylic came out stuck to the paper. Adding back a star. I would give it five stars, but the cap nuts are not uniform and there are slight differences in the cut of the acrylic sheets between the two boxes.
