Tried using this to connect a Dell XPS 13 9350 to a 2560px monitor without success. Not even trying to connect to 4K monitor. Not sure if it is a bad unit or something wrong with the Dell. Will order another cable and try.

UPDATE: Ordered the 3ft type-c to displayport cable from Google Play, works like a charm. So I don't think this was a config issue. Mine's going back to Amazon.

This adapter works ok. Just very limited without a way to charge my 2015 12 inch Macbook. I was using this adapter with my Apple 27 inch LED pre thunderbolt display. The resolution is not as good as with just a normal USB – c. Sometimes the connection fails and the adapter need to be removed and reinstalled several times.
