Easy upgrade that improves the look of your Jeep JK
This was an easy upgrade for my 2014 jeep JKU. It took me less than 5 minutes to remove the old lights and install the new lights. Just remove two screws to remove old light, unplug wire, reconnect wire to new light, and finally replace the two original screws. The new lights are the same size and dimensions as the original. so, if you have a protective cover over your taillights, they will still fit. They look great and are bright. They didn't come with instructions, but it wasn't hard to figure out. The kit came with two load resisters that you can slice into the wires if you are getting error codes due to the onboard computer thinking there is a lights out. This is because the LED lights use less power and the computer thinks the bulb is out when it isn't. I did not need to wire this price in, and it is working great without it. So, try it without the load resister first to see if you will need it. I've already been given a few compliments on the lights and I've only had them about a week.

So far, so good. I just installed these on my 2014 JKU and it was super easy, plug and play all the way. The lights I received did not come with any additional connectors. Based off of another review, I decided to seal around the wiring with silicone gel to prevent moisture build up. Let's see if it holds up. I will definitely update this review if things change.
As for looks, these lights are brighter than the stock ones. I've attached a few before and after pics for your viewing pleasure. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the mirror black finish surrounding the back. I can see it easily getting scratched up. The sides however, have a matte finish which matches the finish of the stock fenders.
Overall, I love the look of these lights. I think they give my Jeep a sharper look.
