I put up one string in my six year old's bedroom and they look lovely. Very happy with the overall effect they create. Surprisingly bright LED lights, create a lot of light and really solid plastic "rope" construction. A bright white color, not yellow. HOWEVER...
When I opened the second and third boxes of lights, I discovered that the connectors are defective (appear to have been warped--the plastic is an oval shape instead of the round shape it should be), which means the strings can't connect to one another. This means I can't string several sets together as I had planned and need access to additional outlets.
I heard from the manufacturer in less than 24 hours and they are trying to rectify the situation, by issuing a refund and having me order replacements. Will update my review based on how the replacements look!
