Great Value for the Money, Pretty Bright Too

I got these to light up under my hood on my truck since I have similar lights on my other truck but I haven't been able to find them again. I added two under my hood and one in my bumper and I say they work pretty good. I like the rubber mounting pads to help route the wires and the wires are also longer then expected but it may mention in the details.

I got a box of 6 green LED rock lights. There is one under each fender, one behind the front grill and, I have one left over just incase I need to replace one. The color matches my lighted whip perfectly. I also bought some small spools of electrical wire because the lights only have about a foot or so coming from them. The wiring was not hard to do but it was time consuming. It took me two days to get it done. I didn't want to see wires running all over the place so I took my time and did it right. I put a switch in as well so I can turn them on or off when needed. These are very bright which is why I mounted them where the light itself could not be seen. I tested them on the battery before I mounted them and was seeing spots after. I also didn't want to do that to someone who may be looking at me while I was riding, that is just not safe. There are also parts of trails that are along side the roads so I exspecially did not want to blind drivers in vehicles. I use the lights at night only. I think it is a cool look but it is also about safety for me. I want to be seen. Check out the pictures. I used them on a 40 mile ride that went into the night. They were on for over two hours straight. The tails had some very rocky spots and some small watery mud puddles and they are still working. They did get covered with dirt and I just cleaned them off. Also the lights do get hot so be careful when you touch them. There is a Haunted Halloween ATV ride coming up soon that I may go on and think this would look great. I have updated from 4 stars to 5 because I feel I really tested them out. I am very satisfied with these lights and do not have any issues with them other then the amount of heat they generate. I'm sure that effects the lifespan of the light. The manufacturer of the lights I believe said they were good for 50,000 hours so I'm sure they took the heat into account. That is many years of use for me so I'm not concerned. However, if they should not be hot to the touch someone please let me know.

They've only been installed for a couple weeks. Everything looks good and they seem like a durable product. Easy to instal if you have the right tools. I just used self tapping screws. The color is just what I was expecting. With all lights I feel like you can never have enough so i do wish they were a little brighter. I have 10 mounted on my jeep. 3 in the front, 3 in the rear, and 2 on each side. I will do a long term review later.

Also, the rubber mounting gasket is contoured for mounting on pipe, not for flat surfaces.
I have mounted them on the exterior of a box cap. They cast a decent amount of light and well worth the money if you can wire them yourself.
