Honestly I have no idea how this works. I'm not a believer in essential oils to cure ailments and when I bought this, I expected it to be completely useless. But I have really horrific chronic migraines and I'm also currently pregnant. I can't take any of the prescription meds I typically rely on to keep them at bay.

This little roll on works SO WELL. I rub it on my forehead, temples, and/or back of the neck and my headache dulls almost immediately. It never fully vanishes, but it becomes much more manageable and tolerable. The oils have a cooling sensation that feels really nice on the skin and the smell is pleasant.

I suppose I feel the success I'm having with this roll on is either a placebo or something to do with aromatherapy, but whatever it is, I have ordered a couple more to keep around the office and in my purse. I highly recommend this product.

Figured I’d try this product since it had so many positive reviews and my headaches continue to happen and migraine medicine (ibuprofen, Tylenol migraine, etc) not doing the trick (and I don’t really like taking medicine if I don’t absolutely have to). Even with the reviews, I was not expecting too much. The headaches are something that started happening for me a few years ago and they’ve increased in the number of headaches, and their pain, depending on how stressed I am and also if I’ve been drinking water (that has a big effect on me). So…. I’ve tried several remedies like the standard ibuprofen, Tylenol migraine, advil migraine, caffeine, hydration packs, sleeping it off, etc. and it just has been so miserable to not be able to go many days without a headache and then also not having anything that actually took my headache away. Gosh, I feel for people who deal with this on a more intense level because it’s debilitating. Anyhoo, I ordered this after it was recommended by Amazon the other day and I figured with the number of reviews and high rating and reasonable price tag, it was worth a shot. Ordered it for me and my significant other who has even worse headaches. Started using it a couple days ago and have been astounded by its effectiveness. Just ordered another stick so we each have one. I realize that we have not been using it for very long and so I will try to update my review if it stops being useful but this really has provided so much relief and I highly encourage others dealing with headaches to at least give this a try. I even enjoy putting it on just because it smells good and relaxes me. Our daughter (9YO) also loves the smell of it and rolled a bit on and loved the feeling. I like to roll it literally all over my skull (through my hair, I know, I’m a weirdo but that’s where I feel the pain the most and holy crack it feels like the peppermint and cooking sensation sucks the headache from my skull! I sound crazy 😂) and I also think rolling it onto my neck, a bit on the top of shoulders near neck, behind ears, and temples makes it extra effective for me. Great experience!

Perfect for when you’re waiting for meds to kick in

Let me begin by explaining that I think Amazon knows more about us than we realize, or they just mistakenly sent me a package that ended up keeping me out of the emergency room. I originally got this in the mail, from Amazon, not having ordered it. I don’t know if it was given to me as a gift. It had no mailing slip in the envelope, nothing. Just the product itself, and no communication indicating it was given to me for review, and no order history of it online, and thus no option to review. That kind of freaked me out.

But Amazon did me right with this, because now I’m keeping one in my bedroom, my partner’s bedroom, my purse, my car, and probably having one put in my casket.

I have migraine headaches, and maybe amazon somehow knew that. I get about two a week. I wouldn’t wish them on anyone. I get auras, excruciating pain, and frequently, nausea. I usually handle them by taking about 1600 mg of ibuprofen along with a Benadryl so that I can sleep it off.

But I inevitably ended up getting a headache, and with my migraine headaches, I’ll take anything short of arsenic if it might help the pain. Sometimes arsenic seems more appealing than the headache, actually. So I gave this roller thing a shot, and I’m glad I did

This product is amazing. So amazing that I had to buy a second tube and leave a review. I’ve never taken it alone (as in, not alongside medication), so I can’t give it 5 stars because I can’t imagine it would cure a migraine headache on its own. However, when I usually take my normal migraine medication, I have to spend about an hour more in agony waiting for it to kick in. This changed all that. I applied it behind my neck, to my temples, under my nose (do not recommend putting it under the nose if you have migraine headaches worsened by smells) then lay down in the tub with the shower on so the room got steamy. Instant relief. It felt like I’d put IcyHot to my temples, and I could feel what can only be described as my headache melting away. Then I had a comfortable, cool sensation on the areas applied.

The smell is great too! It says it’s peppermint, spearmint, and lavender essential oils in a coconut oil, so be careful of any allergy issues. I also wonder if the smell may act as a natural insect repellent. I’m going to test that and update.

The cooling sensation lasted after the headache was gone, which was actually refreshing during what I call the “migraine hangover”- the exhausted, drained feeling that you’re left with when the headache is leaving your body. It was nice, because the smell gave me more energy.

Long story short: great product; probably better as a supplement to medication than a substitute for it.

This smells delightful and I do feel like it makes a difference for mild headaches, and takes the edge off strong ones. i didn't expect it to work magic, and it doesn't get rid of migraines...BUT it does provide its pleasant and a little bit of a tingle feeling on the neck that gives you something else to focus on. Also, if something smells icky around you put a little on your wrists and it will give you a distraction!
