This is a short, easy read that reminds us simple words of recognition and praise make a world of difference in leadership, and I believe that also covers the world of leadership in parenting. It's basic leadership, and a good reminder that going back to the basics is often the best solution for a team approach.

The U.S. Postal service should have this as required reading.

These are basic words of advice but some which are quite often taken for granted,and often forgotten. As a letter carrier for the postal service, I tried to relate this booklet to my experience with our management. Very little of it is followed here, and if at all, very seldom. This book reminds us of basic common courtesy with a dash of mutual respect for one's fellow man/woman.
I would suggest that these rules be put on a poster and displayed prominently outside a manager's office as a daily reminder.
There were a few typos/grammatical errors, and a few areas which could have used a bit more elaboration/explanation, but overall a good simple read.

A Quick and Easy Read, Full of Info

As an up-and-coming manager for a local chain store, this book was simple to digest in one sitting, while on break nonetheless, and pick up some pointers on having a more motivated, driven team.
I recommend for anyone who is in any kind of leadership position and thinks they could use a brush-up of their people skills.

It makes since and most of them I use and practice everyday as a leader. The one phrase I will start using is yes, and instead of yes, but. It just sounds nicer.
