When I first saw this I was a bit skeptical. I have tried everything to keep the birds away from my tomatoes so I was desperate. After all of the trouble I have gone to with fake owls, scarecrows, and netting surely it won't be as simple as hanging up a bunch of doodads in my garden. I reasoned that even if it doesn't work out then I can craft with it to make it worth my money. I am happy to report that it was that simple. For the first time in a long time, I have a bird free yard. Thank you for allowing me to purchase at a discount for the purpose of testing and reviewing. However, this has no bearing on my comments or opinions expressed. As always, my reviews are completely honest and unbiased.

I purchased these reflectors in an attempt to keep away birds. We have a high bush blueberry tree and every year the birds get the majority of the blueberries. We put these on and they are very unassuming but they have worked beautifully. The birds have barely touched the tree and we are enjoying one of the best blueberry harvest we have ever had...literally! One tip, they come with a plastic covering on them, and no directions, that should be removed. As dumb as it may seem I didn't realize that until we placed them throughout the tree and I kept wondering how these "things" are going to scare off birds. I kept looking at them when I realized that it was a plastic coating on them that needed to be peeled. My husband and I have even been startled intermittently by them until we realize it's them. Would highly recommend them.

This is a really cool idea to deter birds from a specific area. It doesn't harm the birds and I think it even looks good. I chose to put mine in the one tree tree that I want them to stay out of and it seems to be working. They do arrive as a kit that needs to be put together. You even have to peel a plastic protection cover off the metal discs. Then assemble them. I think it's intended to be 2 discs and a spinner but I chose to do them in groups of 2's, 3's, and 4's. I really like these and they look decorative along with being functional.

These are pretty cool and I do like them a lot. Definitely the best price for getting 12 of them. The one thing that is a pain...literally...is you have to put them together and they have a protective coating that you have to peel off. The coating can be tricky to get off and you are holding a sharp piece of sheet metal. I ended up cutting my fingers 3 times before I decided to stop after putting the 8th one together. I will probably buy more because I have a huge magpie problem but my only advice is BE CAREFUL!

I had a problem where birds would hang out on my porch and when I opened the door, would freak out. Birds have made it into my house on a few occasions, leaving me to figure out some way to get them out! I decided to try these out. They came well packed small box. They were super easy to open up and put together with the simple instructions provided. Since I have hung these up on my porch three days ago, I have had no birds come close to my porch! Bird problem solved!

I love these these bird repellent reflective discs. For our home they work and I am extremely satisfied. We have so many birds in our yard. We have a next door neighbor that puts up bird feed and we get so many birds all over my yard. They use the bathroom on my deck and in my backyard. It makes it so unbearable and is so disgusting that no one wants to be out there. I decided to purchase these reflective disks and hope that it can help with the issues that I have. The kit comes with 24 thick metal, shiny reflective mirrored discs, 12 metal hooks and 36 metal rings. They are so quick and easy to assemble. You just attach them to the length that you want and hanging them on a tree, bush, awning, fence on or around your vegetable plants or fruit trees to keep them away. It made it very easy for me to see how they were set up on the bushes, trees and awnings. I was just so desperate that I needed something to work really bad. My kids helped me hang them and it is already the first day and we have not had that many birds in a yard. I guess I should move them around and maybe even get another pack of the reflective discs to put them on the other side of my yard. In less than one day my situation has gotten much better. Also for some reason I think often get a bird or two a week that hits my front window. I also love the fact that they are so beautiful when the sun reflects on them. I have also been getting compliments from my neighbors because they think I purchased them for decoration but have no idea I got them for my bird issues. I will be putting up some there also to keep them away from hitting the window. I do highly recommended these discs.
