I usually enjoy watching this show but this episode has not been uploaded properly. The video gets to a certain point and then sticks there and will not continue even though the audio continues. Plus the entire audio length is only about 12 minutes long. Not the whole episode. Hope this can be fixed because I bought the whole season.
season 13 was going fine until episode 9. Third Ambush Is the Charm ... this video is only 13:50 long although the sound continues... having had this issue before with another show and having gone through the ridiculousness of tech support attempting to explain to me how it was my issue on my computer before finally admitting that there was an issue on the Amazon end not the user .. was not going to waste my time attempting to deal with them... oh yes.. this user is a computer nerd with over 40 years experience building hardware, software applications and systems so not your average user and the problem then and now is not with the users... so fix it Amazon.. or refund my money for the entire season as that what was purchased... a season and missing/bad episodes do count as part of the season... am serious here people .. fix it before the next episode is available or refund my money.
I think Season 13 is the best, and I have watched all episodes since Season 1 Episode 1 here on Amazon. The decibel level in terms of yelling seems less, the story arc is more coherent. The editing seems more natural -- I LOVE that natural pauses in conversation are left in instead of audio having to go a mlle a minute. It all seems more thoughtful, more wise, more engaging. The ambush thing -- when that started I didn't care for it but I have warmed to it. This season is exemplary and the style I hope to see on future episodes, unless they make it better. As noted above episode 9 is not properly loaded. there is only 2:28 of video and 12 minutes of audio, you can watch it count down. The real problem is customer no service, all they wanted to do was troubleshoot my computer, already done before the call. Then it took showing them the other comments on this episode for them to understand and comprehend it was their problem, once past the gatekeeper to tech support, it was again what was wrong with my computer, I forced the agent to look at the comments and finally a tiny light bulb went off and the problem is kicked up to senior support with a call back promised, we will see.
I love the show, even the new ambush format, but I sure hope tech support is paying attention to all the posts about Episode 9's problems with streaming. 2:28 in the video freezes while the audio continues. I spent WAY too much time multiple times with Amazon help trying to find out why it wasn't working and basically got the same response that it must be problem with my computer! Well guess what? It wasn't my computer. And they FINALLY got it reloaded so it works properly.
Not crazy about the new "ambush" theme. Lots of tears and family troubles. I use to like the way they reached out to the local community, revamped menus etc. , use to be an upbeat show, now it's like Dr. Phil meets Jerry Springer.
