I loved the first season so I was really excited for the second season. The first two episodes of season 2 were not great. Part of the reason was because I couldn't stand the tattoos "Money, D**k, Power" Quinn and Rachel got. I almost quit watching over those stupid, ridiculous tattoos but I persevered and it paid off. I love this show. This behind the scenes focused show within a show with characters with no morals whose only interest is producing a good show with good ratings no matter what horrible, immoral, despicable thing they have to do to get those ratings. It's a Bachelor-ish show where the producers "create situations and make things happen" and boy do they ever make things happen. My favorite character is Rachel, the morally corrupt producer who deep down wants to be good person but thinks good people can't make good TV. She has a screwed up love life that makes this show so much fun to watch. Quinn, an equally morally corrupt character; actually she's worse, is loads of fun to watch. She would sell her own mother for ratings gold.

Anyway, it's awesome and if you are someone who enjoys Reality TV especially the Bachelor or just someone who loves good TV, you will get a kick out of this fabulously scripted, well-acted, naughty little gem.

I haven't seen a lot of reality TV, but I live and work in the industry; two all-consuming entities filled with self-obsessed people trampling all over each other. Many shows are set in LA now due to budget constraints, but the best material comes from writing what you know, and while I haven't IMDB'd anyone yet, this was obviously developed by experienced creatives. Desperate AP living on set, abusing herself, everything, and everyone around her? Possibly the truest Hollywood story!

I'm sure a lot of men watch, but it's aimed at women, and captures layers of female psychology in ways no other show has. The grittiness of these bad girls comes from real trauma, not heavy makeup. People call it dark, but it still has the lightness of episodic drama to me, just like the show within the show. Maybe I'm too far gone... Whatever. This is my guilty pleasure.

I am the newest, biggest fan of this awsome new show. I discovered UnREAL accidentally while browsing desperately for something to watch. I really hate the summer when all my shows are off. Anyway, I found the show about two days ago, and I've binge watched through season one and I'm current on season two. The show makes you think, and think, and think some more. There are moral and ethical issues at play, questions of character, integrity, skeletons in the closet--you name it. It brings up power issues between men and women in Hollywood in a unique, completely fascinating way. I love Rachael, the producer, and I think I love to hate, but love more than hate Quinn, her brilliantly manipulative boss. Anyway, if you are looking for a show to sink your teeth into, with lots of suprises and unexpected events, then check this show Unreal our for REAL!!!

Hard to understand how people can love The Bachelor AND love UnREAL but they do. I think it's a bit over the top in the manipulation but certainly shows what's going on in so-called realilty shows..groveling contestants willing to do anything for a few bucks or a path to fame, almost as sad as the Depression era dance marathons. I fail to see Rachel's great appeal to so many good AND bad guys..she seems to have "lack of effect." and I know she has a mental health issue background. I have to be in the right mood to watch these trainwrecks of women, producers and contestants, sort of junk food TV.

Oh gosh I been waiting for this to come out! I did buy these even if it does not show here- amazon bug
I am so addicted to this show already, season 1 got me hook, line, and sinker.
Not sure why it is not showing I bought this because I did :(

Really glad to see Old caste returned and the surprise at the end is Awesome!
Can not wait to see what they get into and how they twist and turn events to equal ratings
As I watch the new Bacholorette The Bachelorette: Season 12 I wonder how much is just producers creating drama and how much is real? maybe it is all real?

***Really liking the new twist I been seeing coming in the previews. I saw Gwen (character name) on The Talk and she told about the tattoo the ladies got and how she forgot to wash it off one night and her daughter asked her if she got a tattoo- and what does it say? She gave a great mommy reply- She went on and talked about how they justified them getting such outlandish tattoos** Loved the insight of the characters and how they worked with producers and writers to get things done.

I like to think this one is based more on what really does happen of course they take some leeway to make it more entertaining but really where it the line? How far do they go, will they go, or have they gone already?

This show is basically showing what goes on behind the scenes of a reality show, (within the facts this is a tv show ). It is not about what the reality show is, there are people behind the scenes who produce, plot and ploy to get drama. We love our drama and it is why we watch_ to love - hate- cheer - and cry for those we come to know on a show.
