I recently added this collagen cream to my nighttime routine and am very pleased with the results. Within just a couple days I noticed a plumpness and elasticity, but also firmness, to my skin that wasn’t there before. I read in another review that this collagen cream isn’t a true moisturizer, so I layer Drmtlgy’s nighttime peptide cream over this. I end up getting some pilling from layering the 2 creams, but I don’t mind it because it’s at night and my skin feels soooo smooth and plump. It’s almost a little fun to rub my face to activate the pills and then brush them away (my skin feels ridiculously soft after I brush the pills away), but I try not to do this because I guess I’m probably also rubbing away product.
This collagen cream has a faint smell — which I always think of as an “old lady” scent because it’s what my ex mother-in-law smelled like. But my collagen eye cream has the same scent, so I guess that’s just what any product with collagen smells like. It’s not a scent I would choose to smell like, but it’s not offensive, so not taking any stars off for it. This collagen cream has earned a permanent spot in my nighttime beauty routine and I now have it on subscribe and save — totally worth what I paid and then some!

Nice under moisturizer
If you are a mature woman living in a dry place, this isn’t going to be your moisturizer. Sure it goes on smoothly and feels delightfully cool. It also soaks in fairly quickly and feels like it’s tightening those slightly baggy areas. In fact, it soaks in so quickly I was back to feeling completely dry before I left the bathroom. I used the last of my old moisturizer over it and am pleased with the effect. When applied on top of the moisturizer it created a matte surface feels okay but not as good as the other way around. I am interested to see what is does for my neck. So, it wasn’t a complete waste of money.
