Perfect for travel

Perfect for travel. Hotel PTAC units/AC & Heat are usually filthy and give me an aweful cough. I live on the road for work. The one in Iowa I have been at runs 24/7. It probably isn't sized well for the room. Because it constantly runs the air is dry and I wake up like I am hungover, dry mouthed, and sick. I reuse a smartwater bottle and when it gets to be about a month old and replace it though I havent had to worry about any unhealthy growth in the device like some humidifiers. This little guy works great. If I pack it up blow out the ports, use a cutip to dry it further and store it upside down in the original box so any remaing moisture drips out to dry. The cord is usb, unfortunately the end on the device is not so if the cord breaks then good luck with finding a replacement. That said, the cord end snaps into the devices so damage is less likely. it does not come with a usb charging block. I recommend ravpower 6 port with qualcom for android phone or the cheaper 6 port for iphones. I compare this to more name brand humidifiers, but this had the shape and pricepoint I preferred. It's also just easy to keep up with when traveling just dont throw away the adpater piece for bottles. smartwater is the only one I know that works but there are probably others. A smart water can do 2 to 3 nights.

I bought 2 of these.... took both to SC with me for the holidays. Gave one to my sister and used one while I was there. I LOVE IT .... I do find that it does not shut off if it runs out of water. Using a sturdier bottle than the average bottled water bottles works much better. I have a reverse osmosis filter system that I refill my bottle from..

Now .... sometimes it will suck the bottle sides in .... and sometimes it doesn't. I just turn it over loosen the bottle and that takes care of it.I have a larger humidifier that I use in the living area / sleep area .... this one I use in my office area when I'm working. I like it's convenience. If I'm turning it off for the day and it still has water in the bottle - I just invert it - hoping this keeps it from sucking the bottle so quickly the next day. Forget putting a hole in the bottle so it doesn't suck in the sides ....I found it messy.....

HERE'S THE BIG TAKE AWAY..... in use - use at the edge of your desk - table .... if you use it on the floor or pushed back on a flat surface it will deposit water droplets onto the surface because it does mist - but, just the size of it and the low profile ... it can't possibly throw the mist high enough to NOT wet the area about 8 - 10- inches in front of it. I find absolutely NO problem if I set it on the desk edge. After wetting the carpet and a table .... I finally had one of those "DUH" moments and figured it out.

I won't travel without it ..... LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT

This little machine works great for what it is. Best if used by your bed, as it is a small mist spray. Do not put a hole in the bottle as one review suggested. Also, make sure that you dry out the little cylinder of a filter between usages. This is very important, otherwise the water will pool and not mist.

This humidifier works like it's supposed to, but it was too much work to get it going, in my opinion. It will work perfectly if you follow these guidelines.

My tips/general comments:
1. The only water bottle that I could get to work with this is a SmartWater 20 oz bottle. The instructions say to use a 20 oz bottle with the "standard-size neck (not low profile)," but I tried a couple other brands (Dasani, Aquafina) but they all have the low profile neck - I think this is the new norm for water and soda bottles as of late. Don't even waste your time with other brands, just get the SmartWater bottle.
2. I saw a couple of reviewers suggest to cut a hole in the top of the water bottle, so I did that. I didn't see any more mist coming out after doing that, and now this bottle cannot be reused for this purpose again, so I personally don't recommend doing that, unless you weren't planning on reusing the same bottle again.
3. Every time I turn off the humidifier and leave the bottle on it (with water still left in it), it leaks all over. My suggestion is to take the water bottle off of the base when it's turned off. The instructions clearly state that you are supposed to take the bottle off when not in use, but I'm a normal human being and did not thoroughly read the instructions beforehand, and ended up with water all over my desk :)

I would not buy this product again, after all the hassles that I've endured, but hope that someone will see this beforehand and have a better experience with it than I did! :)

I loved this humidifier from the moment I tried it. Our old travel humidifier we had to carry a special bottle for it to work, and took up way to much room in luggage...Over the past weekend we took a short over night trip... Pulled out the Fancii Humidifier opened a bottle of of Dasani, put the adapter on the bottle screwed it on the "base" and out comes a large mist. Had only 1 problem after about 5 minutes it was barely putting out mist so I picked it up to unscrew and mist came out very strong again and work for the next 8 hours...If I needed another humidifier this is the one I would buy. I even took a picture of the mist coming out and posted on my Facebook wall...

I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to give my review for this product, however we could not wait to give it 5 stars. It is exactly as described in size and shape. At first look, it would appear this small device will not provide enough mist to cover a room. However given a little bit of time it's mist will cover a small room more than enough. Needless to say this is a great travel tool. The package comes with two additional filters which can be replaced after the cited hour usage (I don't remember how long, I think its something around 400 hrs. of continuous use, check the included manual). Also the owner was very prompt to reach out to us and provide additional tips (bottle size should be 16 to 20 oz Dasani, Aquafina, Smartwater, Fiji, Evian, or Soda bottles, and use of the included adapter). It works great and we are extremely satisfied. This is a great improvement on the traditional humidifier design, making it practical for travel without compromising output quality.
