When asked to review a Biobased Laundry Detergent, I was all for it. Two members of our family prefer another leading brand biobased detergent, so I decided to give this a try for comparison's sake. Overall, we have been pleased during routine washing. Keep in mind, that my own personal favorite is not fragrance free, so this took me a lot to get use to. The bottles are small, but they are capable of washing 52 loads of laundry (just not if my teens do the wash!). They have a drip resistant cap and are very easy to pour. Thus making this quite convenient! I have always been told by laundry repairmen that the biggest reason he gets called out is because people overuse their detergent. So please don't be deceived by the size of the bottle. Overall, 4 stars! Pleased!

I got this stuff the first time free from Amazon in order to complete a survey about it. But when I ran out I had to get more! This stuff is more natural than grocery store brands, has a pleasant, but not overpowering fresh smell and works better than Wisk and Era to get body oils out of pillow cases and sheets. I don't even have to pre-treat greasy areas of clothes or fabrics (like collars). It seems a little pricey, but a little goes a long way. We don't do much laundry here with just the two of us, so the two bottles we bought will probably last about a year. I also use some other natural detergent with essential oil fragrances for some loads that I want to smell extra nice.

I have an HE washer and absolutely love this stuff. It lasts me longer than my previous detergent, cleans as well or better, costs a little less, does not have a noticeable scent, and is in a tiny light little bottle. I have been a devoted convert since I discovered this laundry detergent. I wash such stuff as softball gear, tennis shoes, sandals, jeans worn near a BBQ pit, muddy field clothes, the outdoor dog's bed, and other stinky stuff with great success. It is in just such a light little efficient bottle, I have even converted my mother in law over. My little person can use the soap without spills and I don't have to worry as much if she does spill it on herself accidentally. I really do love this detergent, although I have to admit I am a fan of some other amazon brand products too.

I can’t tell you if my whites are whiter, or just how clean this gets my clothes. I don’t use the cap to measure it out either, as I find any kind of detergent bottle gets “goopy” around the top if you do that. I put a minimal amount in, and hope for the best. What I can tell you is, I just opened my second bottle, and I received this over three months ago. That includes doing laundry for a family of three plus a pampered pug that produces more dirty laundry than my toddler. The scent wasn’t what I expected, being used to generic “clean” scents even in natural detergents. Once I got over my initial impression of the scent(hate), I’ve warmed up to it. It’s soft, herbally, and non offensive. I can’t stand overpowering laundry scents, and this definitely isn’t overpowering, so win. It cleans as well as of the many other natural detergents I’ve tried, and I would/will purchase again.

I liked the unscentedness and that it was biobased. It also lasts a long time. It does ok with washing. Things seem to appear clean but I'm noticing the longer I use it that things are really starting to smell musty and not so clean. You know that smell that your sheets have after being in the closet for a while? Well that's what do my clothes smell like now. It's like it doesn't get all your body oils out. I will be seeing to something else next time.
