Well, I am here to tell you: "Fun, Fun Fun".
We all seem to like the Disruptor one better than the Nerf Strongarm (second picture) which has a drop down chamber:

Neither one of those uses batteries.
We use these every day!
We also use the battery powered one which rocks!:

For the electric one I mentioned above:
Batteries run the mechanism which allows you to empty the clip one shot at a time.
I also suggest getting rechargeable batteries and a charger!

Rechargeable will save you a lot of money in the long run.
Or these non rechargeable Energizers work well too. They do last a long time:

You will need extra darts for either nerf gun!!!

Like I said, I have been using this daily for several months. Still no wear issues what so ever.
I like that I can leave it cocked and loaded so I can pull off a quick stealthy snipe!

Seriously, you cannot go wrong with one of these.
The only negative I have experienced, is sometimes a dart stick when it advances.
This has to do with the tolerances and wear of the darts.
Although tempting, don't put your fingers in the darts and wear on every finger because it looks cool and is fun.. lol... it damages the darts!
Accuracy, well... not too bad for a Nerf gun! Ask my grand kids! LOL
