Made the best gluten-free sandwich bread

While King Arthur says this bread is not ideal for yeast-products, I found it still works. In the pictures, I made a 2LB gluten-free sandwich bread using a Pullman loaf pan with a lid. It came out so great, and the bread was a hit in the house. One pound was downed within the first hour. Easily the best bread I've had. I highly recommend this flour!

This is one of the best gluten free flours out there!
I had been looking for a cup for cup flour blend that didn’t contain corn starch ( I’m allergic)but still rose well for baked goods and this is it!
I’ve even been able to make my baked goods vegan and it still tastes like the real thing!
Check out these vegan oil free bagels and crescent rolls made with King Arthur’s.
Look at how bready and delicious they look!
The crescent rolls were practically impossible to make prior to using this flour because they required a lot of butter substitute and I can only have about a teaspoon per day due to dietary restrictions, but mixing this flour with cassava flour and brushing them with a teaspoon of vegan butter worked like a charm!
The bagels were made with only King Arthur’s using a recipe found on the SO Delicious website , but I occasionally add 1 blended cup of raw cauliflower( with the juices cheeseclothed out) per 3 cups of flour to the recipe if I’m trying to increase my vegetable intake. It sounds a little weird but it also helps keep the bagels moist on the inside and last longer.
Both the bagels and croissants tasted great!
We love this so much we get it monthly through subscribe and save!

They were out at the local market, so we bought a different brand. The cakes fell flat. Even when mixing 1/2 and 1/2 with King Arthur.
Once we went back to KA, the results are perfect. NOW my 92 year old mother who has memory loss can enjoy her prune cake and it does bring back fond memories for her.
Rarely does a product affect one's life like KA gluten free flour.
Give this a try.

My mother has been gluten free for 50 + years with celiac disease. She was famous for her prune cake. If you can't get your mind around prunes, call it a spice cake. She has made thousands, but could not enjoy them. We bought the King Arthur flour and the results are fabulous.Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2020
