3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 16 ratings

Double Your Weight Loss Efforts Without Feeling Confused Or Overwhelmed!

What if changing a few key habits with your daily food choices could accelerate your weight loss and increase your energy levels by 2-3x? Then imagine your surprise if you also understood how to maintain your weight at a healthy level of your choosing finally getting off the diet roller coaster for good!

It’s all in here and more!

Best selling author and weight loss expert Christopher J. Kidawski has spent the last 15 years uncovering the cold hard facts on why diets fail. Spoiler alert!!!! Diets by their very nature are unsustainable and do not address the correct mechanisms responsible for weight gain in the first place. Kidawski’s methods have been tested and re-tested in the trenches on Navy SEALs, Professional Football players, Mixed Martial Arts athletes, and your normal every day Mom and Pop.

In this book you’ll learn:

• How our body’s structures actually become what you eat.
• Why specific fats, especially saturated fat is necessary for proper weight maintenance.
• Why you need to eat more cholesterol and the best natural sources of it to keep your numbers within a healthy range.
• Which carbohydrates are a catalyst for your health and which will leave you feeling bloated, sick, tired, and depressed.
• How our gut talks to our brain telling it to crave sugar, and how to destroy that signal for good!
• Which fruits are poison, which fruits are healthy, and when to eat them for optimum benefit.
• How and when to use sugar in your diet for rapid fat loss, or consistent muscle growth.
• How to feed your body and be content with only two meals per day!
• BONUS: You can even contact Chris via email for a free 80/20 audit where he will show you how to do more of the stuff that’s working for you and eliminate everything else that is not!

And that’s just scratching the surface!

You won’t find any endorsements from doctors, or nutritionists here, and the foreword was even written by one of his clients.

If you have been struggling with weight loss, plateaus, food sensitivities, low energy levels, a nonexistent libido, skin irritations, or the dreaded yet common thyroid problem then look no further; your struggle is over!

Breaks down what is going on with todays food and what to expect when you eat to much sugar. Helps explain what is healthy and what isn’t but also the why behind it. It’s very upsetting to find out the reality of things but it is better than being naive.

I found the book educational--adding information I did not know to many things I already knew. And I love the author's enthusiasm. He really, truly wants you to live a better life, with a cleaner diet, more energy, and happiness. All that comes through; I feel very motivated after reading this. I was a bit confused when 3/4 of the way through, after condemning bread, pasta, etc (everything that converts quickly to sugar, and spikes insulin) he suddenly advocates for eating carbs (even donuts) at bedtime! All my trainers have told me this is the worst thing you can do. I need to re-read that part and try to understand; perhaps it's just for extreme athletes? Otherwise, the text is marred by many grammatical and punctuation errors. It's a shame because the author insists he loves writing and appears well read. His editor is not! Incorrect use of apostrophes and commas all throughout the book, with many subject/verb disagreements. For the next edition, please use a better editor. You have good information but the reading suffers when there are so many problems with the grammar.

Great Book! Very eye opening and spoke to me on so many levels. I appreciate the education, and since implementing the majority of what the author suggests, I've lost 5 lbs. in under two weeks. I'm a 53-yr-old woman. Easier than I expected. Christopher even took the time to answer some questions in an email I sent to him. Do not fear eating (good) fat when you decide that the traditional food pyramid way we've been taught (brainwashed) to eat is hurting us much more than we could have imagined. What's more expensive---a good way to eat or Doctor appts./prescriptions because you are sick, or worse, from all the bad foods you've eaten most of your life?

If you want to optimize your health, perform at your highest capability, loss weight and feel energized throughout the day.. look no more and read this book! I feel as if Chris is in front of me coaching me throughout every page I read. He uses not only powerful examples, but most importantly, date and reserch. This is a page turner which you would not want to put down.

Soon you will notice how day by day you become more aware of your daily habits and slowly but surely change your lifestyle.

Wait no more and pick up this book for a total life change!

This book is not consistent. The sample menus in back do not follow the authors recommendations for the foods allowed within the heart of the book. There are contradictions riddled throughout the books. There is some good information but hard to weed through.

Everyone should read this book. Quick, easy read packed with a wealth of information. I don't need to lose weight; but the information in this book will provide you with the directions to change the way you eat and the things you eat. This book is a straight forward guide to clean up you diet.

The book is great! Most people don’t know anything about nutrition or better yet performance nutrition, Chris doesn’t have that problem.

He has lived that life as an elite athlete himself, as many nutritionist have not. It’s hypocritical for all those fake nutritionists out there to give outdated, incorrect, and grammatical advice to someone who has literally done their own experimenting in the field something most “nutritionist” have not.

Along with all that Chris has been advising world champions and elite athletes from multiple sports and fitness disciplines on their dietary needs for years.

If you know more about grammar than nutrition I would recommend giving advice on English learning vs industry performance nutrition.

I read this book in January 2017. A quick read that gave me the information I needed to meet my nutrition goals. As a result of reading this book and implementing changes to my diet based on the information in this book I have managed to improve my performance and reduce fat. Highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking to understand the basics of human nutrition.
