I bought this because I like unique computer hardware designs. The hardware is very good quality, looks great, normally very quiet, and has enough power for most computing tasks.

There are however a couple downsides compared to a large desktop:
1. It uses Intel/AMD hybrid graphics so that you can run some apps on power savings mode (intel) and others on the high performance graphics (AMD rx460) . This works well in windows10 but I could not get the hybrid graphics to work in Linux (Ubuntu and others) and was stuck using just the intel graphics when in Linux. Intel graphics works fine unless you want to do any 3d gaming and then the performance is much lower than the RX460 discreet graphics. Also keep in mind the system runs very quiet and cool under normal use, but if doing any gaming the fan will ramp up and become more noisy and the system can get fairly warm.

2. There are not two hdmi outputs. So if connecting two monitors one will have to use the USB-C connector. I bought an adapter that converts from USB-C to HDMI but it would not work properly. I haven't tried hooking up the 2nd monitor again but will try a different cable or adapter when I do. I think it would have been better to have two hdmi ports and the one USB-C port for 4K monitors.

Overall, its a premium computer with nice features like the Bluetooth speaker, the configurable light, looks amazing and small next to a monitor, the keyboard and mouse are adequate and I like they are not Bluetooth but rather wireless which should provide longer battery life. I would recommend it to others unless you want something that will run Linux with 3d graphics support.

Very very nice pc!!!
I gave the computer 5 stars, but the distribution of the keyboard and mouse minus one star.
Mouse has a very serious lag problem, the keyboard is often disconnected. I suspect there is a problem with the USB receiver.
I put on the another mouse and keyboard from mu old pc, works vey well.
-。- Samsung PC is much better than ever made. Five stars is not enough for this pc, I'd like give it for 10 stars if amazon allowed.
The keyboard and mouse model is the same as a few years ago, except color nothing has changed. I strongly recommend Samsung to replace more high-end accessories for such a nice computer.

Magnificent, but not perfect.

This was sent to me as a gift. My background is in experimental technology and I always appreciate those that think outside of the box.

In this case, Samsung has replaced the box with an extremely efficient cylindrical design. The materials and execution are truly excellent, on par with custom computer designs. Very high end!

The interchangeable modules, while quite novel, are really only useful to a small percentage of users. But, for those users, this system of interchangeability is quite magnificent.

For most however, this is a beautiful way to have a full power computer in a, typically, non-computer environment. It is gorgeous and reminds me of the sort of semi-custom equipment sold by TAD Gear.

(for TAD aficionados, this is the Dauntless of the computer world)

The design, materials and function are superb.

But, like any computer, there are issues to be dealt with:

Do not ever let this computer go to Sleep. Not ever! Somehow, in this system, Sleep requires a hard forced restart to recover from. But, why would I ever bother to put this beauty to sleep anyway... Then I would miss my messages, notifications and updates. And, the swirling blinking visual LED ring is awesome.

Also, I have not isolated the frequency yet, but sometimes there is interference from something in my house with the wireless keyboard and mouse. It never lasts long, but it does happen.

Like most of us, this computer has some flaws. But, if you can accept those flaws and love it anyway, this is a gorgeous piece of technology engineering that will make you happy and leave you feeling satisfied.

Definitely recommended!

PS The omnidirectional speaker system is flawless... pure ear candy!

Also, I am amazed how much I enjoy having a full featured high power computer that works on the sixty inch high definition LED television in my living room, without it looking like I have a computer in my living room. This thing just blends in to the scene.

Great system and the integrated quality sound is a real bonus. It sits on my desk and looks great next to my Samsung screens. It should have TWO HDMI ports. Manufacturers.....stop giving us ports we never use or need adapters for. Feature set is excellent. My only complaint/concern is any future need to service the SSD and other components. I wish they designed the system with the SSD as a serviceable module. However in place of that option, a video or document showing how to take the main case apart would be very helpful, I am hesitant to take a high priced system a part without knowing what to expect. No doubt someone will create one eventually.......a hint, hint....Samsung. Nonetheless, awesome system, great profile and I definitely would buy it again with the only hesitation being price, it should be $1299.
