Not for fine hair

I wouldn't suggest for those with fine hair. It did not damage my hair, but my hair didn't hold the curls either. With other curling irons, I've never had this problem. I tried multiple settings and ultimately had to get a very strong hair spray to hold the curls. I'm returning because I know I can get better results with other curling irons.

LOVE this curling iron!!!!! It is perfect for my thick, coarse, long hair. The high heat is great for my coarse hair that doesn't respond to lower temp irons. The extra long barrel accommodates my long hair so that I don't lose any curl on the top or bottom. And the extra long cord is very convenient.

Has the heat range that I like. It's got a good lower setting for me to use, but I can also style other people with higher heat. Also like the 1 1/4 in barrel for those perfectly beachy waves. I also have shorter hair, but it is soooo thick. This longer barrel is helpful to style more at a time.
