Plug-and-Touch Thanks to its Plug-and-Touch feature, you can easily use this accessory with your Windows 10 notebook. Just attach its magnets to the bottom of your screen’s bezel and plug in the AirBar sensor via the built-in USB connector for instant multitouch functionality. When you’re closing your notebook, simply detach it from the magnets and unplug the device.	Touch Using Any Object Your finger, or with gloves on.	Experience Touch with Windows 10! With an AirBar touchscreen sensor you can interact with your Windows 10 notebook in a whole new way by using familiar touch gestures. Scroll websites, zoom in on photos, rotate maps, sweep through slideshows and much more!	Compatibility AirBar for Windows 10 works with most notebooks with displays measuring 13.3, 14 or 15.6 inches diagonally. Make sure you choose the correct model to match your notebook’s display size. The AirBar touchscreen sensor requires a 22 mm tall flat surface below the bottom edge of the display to mount.

How to get started


Before you place your order; AirBar comes in different sizes. If you don’t know the size of your display. Just measure it diagonally and choose the size that best fits your computer.	Now your AirBar sensor has arrived and it's time to attach it. Peel the small round pieces of paper off the two magnets on the back of – AirBar (this should reveal the magnets’ sticky surface).	Position AirBar on the bezel below your laptop’s display, with the top of the device 3 mm below the bottom of the display (the small marks on either side of your AirBar are markers for the display to fit inside).


Attach AirBar to the bottom bezel and press gently above the magnet points.	Remove the AirBar, press the magnets and hold for 10 seconds. Make sure the two magnets are secured on your laptop under the display.	Done! Simply attach your AirBar to the magnets on your laptop, plug in the USB and ta-da, that's it! Your laptop now has full touch screen functionalities.

Does what I imagined it would do.

This product was great because it allowed me to do things where my mouse couldn't. By all means this product is not perfect but it's the closest solution we, those with non-touchscreen computers. This product allowed me to pinch, zoom or even test out apps using emulators otherwise would have been very difficult with a mouse. But when it comes to testing games on emulators using the functions or having to tap on things that are small and in the middle of a page the accuracy of the touch falters. But this can be fixed with software I believe so I am looking forward to new functions. Like adding volume or something when we are above the screen itself but the AirBar can still detect it.

truly plug-n-play, more accurate than expected, works on windows and linux mint

i love this. i knew that i shouldn't expect the accuracy of a real touch screen, but it's far more accurate than i expected, and it truly is plug-and-play. it worked for me on windows 7 enterprise, linux mint 17 and 18, and linux peppermint. highly recommend.

added 2/13/17:

i don't like touching my screen, so i've been experimenting with different styli and paintbrushes. i've found something like this kids' stylus works best (https://smile.amazon.com/ELEGANI-Digital-Android-writing-drawing/dp/B00P4DV9HQ/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1487030758&sr=8-15&keywords=kids+crayon+stylus), i think because it's wider than a normal stylus, but it's still a little tougher than i want to be poking my screen with. paintbrushes do work, but wider is better. also reflective things don't seem to work well at all.

i'm going to try a screen protector, does anyone recommend anything for a 15.6" screen?

also, i found my airbar very slightly bent in my backpack :-0 i bent it back, and it seems no harm done. i recommend putting it in some bend-proof container. i still haven't figured out what to use that's not super clunky in my bag.

Great Option to Make Your Laptop a Touchscreen!

It is truly plug and play. I received my shipment and was able to just plug it in to start using it. There wasn't any installation step which makes it very easy to use. The magnets are very thin; they are like a metal wafer less than the thickness of my fingernail. I can't imagine it being a problem on any laptop.

It did take me couple touches to learn where to hit. After that, it worked great. I used to use my iPad for surfing the internet, but will now will be using my touch enabled laptop!!! It's nice to have the touchscreen and a keyboard to type on.

I highly recommend this for any laptop that doesn't have a touchscreen!

Update--Still loving this thing. I picked up another one for my girlfriend's pc so I took a couple pics. I couldn't get a decent shot with it on my PC, but the rest are decent. I used a dime to show the width of the little metal discs that stays on your PC as well as the airbar itself.

The AirBar seemed to work well but I couldn’t use it. There was not enough room below my laptop screen to attach it. Because of the narrow space below the screen the AirBar covered up the tool bar (Windows 10). Because of this some functions were not available.

Dead on arrival. Didn't work on any of the laptops in my house. Originally purchased for a Windows 7 laptop for my dad so he wouldn't have to muck around with the touchpad, but no dice there (even though I've seen videos and read reviews of this product working on Windows 7). Tried it on mine and my wife's Windows 10 laptops and same story. The little button on the right side turns on the green light when it's plugged in, so it's getting power, but even though my computers all say there's an HID compliant touch screen device installed, no amount of dragging, poking, pinching or any other interaction with the screen so much as makes the pointer twitch. Sorry Dad, you're stuck with the touchpad.
