Own two 28" monitors, Dell and a Samsung (model #LU28R550UQNXZA) - the plate fit the Dell no problem, but there was an issue with the plate fitting the Samsung due to the circular indentation in the back of the monitor. Was going to buy another separate $50 plate like others did online, but ended up just using some heavy duty pliers and bending the corners of the plates myself. Worked like a charm. Other than that, the mount works great and as expected.

The good:
Regarding the product itself, it is great quality, and a decent value for the money. The articulation is as tight or as loose as you want to make it. I used the flat table mount method and was pleased with the stability. There’s decorative plastics to cover the holes where the springs are as well. All in all it’s a decent mount if you have the right sized monitors.

Onto the not so good:
I bought this because it stated it would be compatible with monitors up to a specified size. Unfortunately if you go up to that specific size, don’t expect to get any articulation from the arms to customization your lateral viewing angles as the extension from the mounts arms won’t allow it. Vertical articulation is just as useless. I also tried this with curved monitors thinking maybe I’d get a little more play. Unfortunately, I did not.

If you’re pushing these to the limit with 32” monitors, don’t. Get individual articulating arms or a larger compatible dual mount so you can control their vertical and horizontal axis to mount the monitors to your viewing angle comfort.

I bought three of these VIVO monitor arms for three 27” monitors. Setup required a little work, but it wasn’t too bad. I simply watched the instructional video on this product page. It shows exactly how to set things up. So far, I’m very happy with these monitor arms. They look nice, and they easily hold my 27” monitors. Range of motion is good too. I have owned several Ergotron LX monitor arms that cost $200, and I gotta say, they are nice, but they aren’t worth $160 more than this VIVO monitor arm. They aren’t perfect, but for the price, these are great.

So I'd had cable management at the end of my review but the advice felt more important than the actual review. Putting it up top: ROUTE THE CABLES BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANYTHING. The cable management is functional but inelegant, requiring you unscrew a plastic part, run the cables, screw back in. They have cable management as one of the last steps in the guide, but it will go SO MUCH FASTER if you route the cables before actually installing anything.

To save yourself stress, run cables for everything your monitor supports even if you don't currently need it. If your monitor has USB ports for power, or a hub, buy USB extension cables (similar to a power extension cable) - lets you run the cabling cleanly and plug in elsewhere vs having to deal with running cables later. Ditto for display cables etc - just be proactive and run the highest speed / tier cables before installing for a clean look.

Rest of the review:

This was super easy to install. I went for the 'clamp' installation.

One thing to note as I found limited info: my desk requires me to clamp the monitor to the SIDE of the desk. Can't put it on the rear of the desk due to the way it is constructed (kind of a small secretary style design). The arm works perfectly for my usage. It's super flexible and you can kind of see how well it contorts itself.

Stability is fine. I keep mine in a mostly static position, only moving it to switch to my laptop for video calls. If I were throwing my monitor all over the place all day I would absolutely buy a premium version. This is GREAT for folks like me who need basic cable management and a pretty stable / standard position for their screen. For a short term work from home scenario like we are all facing right now I am super happy with the money.

I'm combining this with a Pixio PX275h and the weight / size works fine. I think if this was a smaller monitor it may be more stable feeling as there is a good deal of give whenever I adjust it, but it stays in place which is all I care about.

I have a desk for my Kia that goes in the corner and at first anywhere I try to put the thing it wouldn't really reach with two monitors nicely and I couldn't find a spot to put it. Then I figured it came with extra pieces of equipment to drill holes in your desk so I thought okay what if it's closer somewhere in the middle of the desk I drove holes and that actually works great it was super simple it provided everything you needed to install it that way and so two holes later and about 10 minutes of playing with it and I have a great setup.

It even fit my 34-in ultra wide curved LG monitor, and the title of the product says it goes up to 32 in but it works great even for my 34in + 24in
