For decades David and Malinda Bakara have searched for the legendary cryptid known as Bigfoot. And they're not alone. In 2016 the Bakaras opened Expedition: Bigfoot! -- a one-of-a-kind repository of all things Sasquatch. We visited Mr. Bakara to learn more about his experiences, his convictions, and why he believes there's overwhelming evidence for this creature's existence.
This is an excellent video giving a great overview of what bigfoot is about as well as the museum. I don't get people complaining that it is too short. It is free! I totally agree with David in regards to the total uselessness of wearing camo looking for bigfoot. The concept it pretty laughable. If bigfoot is real then he not only knows you are there from miles off, he also knows where all the game cams are (because no one has ever gotten a good photo of one with a game cam). The odds are, bigfoot is not what most of the people looking for it think it is. Ironically some of the believers think that the people that realize there is more going on than meets the eye are silly.
The theories presented here run similar to mine to a degree. We just simply do not understand these creatures - with our vastly over-rated "modern" science - so we put our heads in the sand and pretend they don't exist. This has been true time after time during man's history. The Earth was flat. The Earth was the center of the universe. Man was magically put here by a sky god. Bigfoot most likely has amazing defense mechanisms that we just can't understand yet. Lastly, people constantly say, as described in this short doc, there are no bones. Where are the bones? We have found bones and hair and scat and blood but, these items usually won't be examined because the lemmings at most research centers refuse to look at them. When these items are looked at and reported the poor scientist that did the reporting may as well kiss his/her career goodbye. I found this short doc very interesting and would like to see more like this.
The film is very short but I enjoyed it pretty good. It was nice seeing some of the stuff in the museum and hearing some of the stories. A few of the stories towards the end are all about magical bigfoot stuff, which is really far fetched for most people. I personally am not into the woo part of bigfoot. Over all the film is a pretty good watch, just very short.
I thought for such a short documentary, you did a great job. You definitely have the voice and personality to make many more and it probably wouldn't matter about the topic. You MAKE it interesting. Don't let any of the negative reviews get under your skin....you are a natural at what you do David. Reach for the stars..!!!!!!!!!
