I was devastated when my 20 year old Pyrex dish from my mom broke. I am mediately came to Amazon and purchase this which was the exact same dimensions. Wow that’s great and exactly what I expect from Pyrex I noticed that the thickness of the glass is much less than the older versions. I just feel like the old stuff is much better quality. Either way this Pyrex glass works great and the lid fits on perfectly. I already made some banana bread in the pan and it works great.

I like Pyrex containers, so when mine broke I needed a new one, but wanted one with a lid. This works great but is not like the picture. The one I received has the easy grab handles where the lid fits inside the handles. It's fine with me, it takes up a little more room in the drawer, but works great and easy to hold

I initially got this casserole dish because Pyrex is so well known for good quality products that are oven-safe and I thought it would be the perfect size to fit in my toaster oven. I didn't see the description mention toaster ovens being different, so I thought it would be fine. I was wrong. The package insert specifically says it cannot be used in them. The best explanation I've seen is that the dish is closer to the heating elements than it would be in a traditional oven and this puts too much stress on it, potentially causing it to shatter. I've since seen ads for Pyrex sets specifically designed for toaster ovens, so there are other options. Other than this disappointing aspect, it seems to be a great size and decent quality, although a little thinner/lighter than other Pyrex I've used. I usually don't have problems with lids but I agree with reviewers who found this one hard to take off. Not a problem for me but it may be for others.
