    I bought this charger because the one I had stopped working. I tried with a cheap charger but it took more than 3 hours to charge my phone, I even thought it was a battery problem. Since I bought this charger, my phone gets quick charged in aproximately 1 hour. The size is okay, not too big not too small, it fits in my medical fanny bag small pocket, and it is foldable which makes it even easier to save it in a bag/backpack.

    Okay, I'll admit it, I like USB power supplies that have a light on them so that I know they're plugged into a power strip that's turned on. But it's the speed of charging my iPhone (i.e. the PowerIQ feature), and the general reliability of Anker products, as compared to the no-name "ice cube" USB power supplies, that has made me buy several of these Anker units over the past few years.

    The worst that I can say about any of the Anker USB power supplies that I have bought so far (about five in total) is that the blue LED light on one unit quit after about three years of use, but the unit itself still works fine. I put it in the bedroom to keep the room dark at night while charging my smart phone.

    I keep one of these units near the front door for those times when I forget to charge my phone overnight, and want to give it a quick charge in the morning before I head out the door. This gives the much slower cigar-lighter charger in my car a big head start.

    Skip the cheap stuff and just get this instead! It is a great charger. It doesn't get burning hot like other chargers I've used and has a thick and nice feeling plastic body. The blue light bar is useful for letting me know when it's plugged in. Another AMAZING feature that I've noticed is that when my, let's say my iPad has been charging using this and it is fully charged, the Anker actually stops the charging in the box, so the iPad registers as not charging, so it doesn't damage the iPad if I forgot. That's really useful for busy people like me and many others. I would recommend Anker to anyone who needs the products that they sell, they are really one of those "great brands" still left today.

    I was prompted to buy this product after I saw a review on it on my local news channel during their “Tech”“ segment, and then I saw a review for it on YouTube by a trusted YouTube Tech Person .

    So basically I had just gotten my iPhone X, all of this talk about fast charging, etc. etc. whet my appetite to experience this fast charging myself.

    Plus I liked the fact it was a dual port 24 W USB charger. So I would be able to charge my iPhone X and my iPad Pro faster than using the normal charger.

    While it makes everything convenient due to condensing 2 different chargers into 1, Quite honestly I have not noticed MUCH of a speed change.

    Now that can be for a lot of reasons.

    I bought the suggested iPhone USB cable to go with my Anker Charger. Also by Anker.

    Now maybe I have to do a timed test.

    I feel like the change in charging speed is not justifying the cost I am spending for these “fast chargers” & accompanying wires.

    There is a “fast charge” apple wire that is roughly $70! Not to mention the few hundred people will shell out for the large charging mat when that is released this winter.

    I realize that Apple still needs to send out their “fast charging” software to the phones and iPads – unless they already sent it out and I just don’t even realize it. God, I hope not
    Because that would make this situation even more sad.

    But for the device itself: it works beautifully.
    I like the convenience of the two in one, I like that it is strong and constructed well, I like that it works-LOL, and like I said I have noticed a speed increase, but nothing to knock my socks off.

    When Apple sends out their updated iOS for the iPhones and iPads to fully supports the wireless/speedy charging I will do a proper update. I know you are excited for that!

    Anker is a good product, works just fine. Only problem is that it does not show when it's fully charged, so I just charge it for a long time. I live in a no flood zone and we got flooded. I thought if I needed to charge anything I could just drive to a place with chargers. NOPE! We couldn't drive anywhere for days, fortunately a neighbor loaned me one, otherwise I would have had no contact with anyone. Make sure you have at least two or more, fully charged for your phones, emergency radios, hearing aids and anything else you'll need. I think I'm going to buy another one so I won't have to worry about being stranded again.
