I loved this show, almost through and through. It's been hailed as the best show nobody watched. As a tech consultant, it's right up my alley. As a nerd slightly obsessed with the 80s, it provided light nostalgia without being cheesy. HOWEVER... season four was tough. It seemed slow, storylines were developing when you already knew it was the final season- and you're sitting there like "why is this relevant" - I found myself playing with my phone, checking Instagram, etc during the last season. I got to the penultimate episode and realized I missed something important. I sat down and watched the last three episodes and really enjoyed the last 10 minutes of the final episode. Was this a "Breaking Bad" or "Sapranos" final season? No. Is it worth a few bucks to grab now and watch if you've already been following? Sure, why not? My 4 star review is the result of somewhat boring final season followed by a pretty decent finale. Nothing to get excited about, but I was somewhat satisfied with where the show ended.
Disappointed in the the plots, their "resolutions" and I think there were so many other ways this could have ended. So many ways to achieve growth without all the disastrous events, especially that there will be no more ideas afloat for further character development. I didn't care at all whether or not Donna and Cameron reunited. Good ole Joe can get on with a much more rewarding life, with my best regards to Lee Pace.
we loved this series from beginning to end. EVERYTHING about it is superb, the acting, storyline, etc.. it was also really interesting as someone who was not privy to the leading edge of this technology being "created" I have only been on the receiving end of such fabulous minds as those who have given us the wonderous stuff we use every day now.
If you were in grammar school and played with the Apple II then this is the show for you. Starting in the early 80s and ending in the 90s its a drama about the birth of modern computing into the age of the internet.
Loved the show. THought season 1 was the best. The last season was good, but seemed to be kind of odd. All in all it was a good series and recommend for anyone likes technology and a soap opera together.
I loved the show as it deals with the ups and downs of the beginning of the technological revolution and internet with winners and looser. I wish they had a better worked out closing, even taught you understand what will happen, the end was not developed as well as the rest of the series. The two hour last episode dealt with the big changes, but appeared rushed at the end.
