I purchased these to do some simple NFC testing. They work well and as expected. I don't have much of a use for them at the moment. I'm only using one regularly in my car phone holder. I formatted the tag with the word 'car' and setup my phone to enter 'car mode' when it picks up on the tag when I place it into the phone holder. My phone holder is black, so I used a black sharpie marker to color the sticker black to match. It looks and works quite well.

These are great little NFC stickers. They were well-priced to be just a 10-pack. I've written/read using NFC successfully with all 10, as well. They stick very well and are DEFINITELY permanent, so that's one thing to keep in mind. They durable and not at all removable (and aren't supposed to be). Removing these would VERY likely ruin the functionality of the NFC tag if not the surface you've adhered them to. So they're great if you want to stick them and leave them. That's what they'll do!

Read as generic which I expected, but it detects that there is 0 bytes of data so I can not write even a single character. Very little information on how to use, many iOs apps do not even read these. Very disappointed.

Recently purchased an android based phone (Google Pixel 3) and was able to use TagMo and the phone to write/read these tags. Poorly documented product none the less.

You do have to have some experience or look up how to use these, because NFC disks are made to be programmed but if you know what you're doing, these are a great price and work well.

My daughter was ecstatic when she could pick her own Animal Crossing characters to invite to her Island, and get rid of the ones she didn't want in her neighborhood. Amiibos are non-rewritable

There is no way to rewrite amiibos because they only work if they have write protection on, once write protection is on they can't be rewritten. If I had known that I would have bought them in bulk somewhere else. Also if you plan to use the sticker inside of something like glued between paper like I did, the signal can be a little dodgy but still works.

Just make sure the application you wish to use it for works correctly, for me I didnt know samsung had taken away the feature of using NFC tags to turn on phone features. I wanted to stick a tag in my car and when i pressed my phone to it, that it would turn on my mobile hotspot but I had hit the system limitation set in by samsung other then that it wouldve worked.
