The Evocel [Urban Pouch] is designed for reliability and performance. It’s constructed of a durable nylon material, which allows it to hold a strong form, yet still be flexible enough to accommodate many different device sizes. Interior dimensions measure at: 6.1 in x 3.1 in x 0.37 in.
FLEXIBILITY – The elastic stretch bands on the side of the pouch allows the soft inner lining to expand or contract to create a close fit around the device, which helps to protect sensitive parts of a phone such as its screen.

MULTIPLE CARRYING OPTIONS & PEN HOLDER – Integrated pouch loops give the user the choice of wearing it in a vertical or horizontal position on their belt. Great value for a nice phone pouch

I finally got a so-called "smart" phone, and given how much more difficult it is to carry and handle vs the old reliable flip phones, I immediately began searching for a case to store and carry it in. I'd initially thought a leather one would look a bit classier, but recalled that numerous ballistic nylon computer cases I'd used in the past looked nice while being easy to clean and rather durable. I also figured that not having high-strength magnets to keep it closed might be safer since there are numerous components and sensors in these newer phones that I didn't want to be adversely affected, so I wanted one that used a hook & loop (aka "Velcro") fastener to secure the flap. After spending a few days with this case, I'm very pleased with it. The dimensions listed were fairly accurate, and it fits my Moto g Power phone great, and the flap closes easily and securely without requiring excessive force to open. It can be attached for carry in multiple ways: a metal clip, vertical and horizontal straps, and a small metal loop. The clip is convenient, but it doesn't hold on to a belt really tight and therefore tends to start coming loose if you crouch or bend down. The straps are integrated snugly beneath the clip, and while requiring your belt be partially removed in order to secure the case, definitely provide a secure attachment for carry. The loop may be a handy means to provide an extra measure of protection via a cord and clip in some scenarios - or perhaps to stow the case on a small hook in the kitchen or garage - but I'd never use it to actually carry the case since the fabric loop holding it in place isn't very robust. The stitching and trim on the entire case is very well done and matches the case material quite closely. And as I'd hoped the appearance of this case allows it to compliment most any type of attire. For anyone who needs to have a cabled interface with their phone (e.g. ear buds) while it's being carried, this case most likely won't suffice since the bottom and sides of the phone are almost completely covered. However, for a nicely made phone pouch that provides affordable utility this case is hard to beat.

I have have a couple of other iPhone carriers for my belt and neither has not been completely satisfactory. The first one for my 6+ is designed to carry the phone horizontally and it clips on to the belt with a metal clip (it also has loops be they don't appear to be very durable. It was OK but the fake leather on the clip wore out. My second one I bought for my XMax had nice fake leather finish. After less than three month of wear, the fake leather belt loop broke. So, while I hesitate to give this product raving reviews, I must say that it seems more durable than my previous two products. I like that it can be attached to the belt in either a vertical of horizontal position. I like that it has option of a metal belt clip (which is not covered with fake leather). I also really like the pen holder. I carry a ball point pen with a rubber stylus on the end so I can use it either with paper or digital applications. In general, I think this product should rate five stars if it holds up for at least a year. However, since I haven't owned it that long, I'm giving it four stars because i believe it has great potential.

Pros: The case itself is very durable. The belt loops aren't even remotely close to tearing loose. The sides of the holster are made of an elastic material. This is ideal for adapting to varying size phones and keeping it securely in place. In 9 months the elastic is still very strong and my phone does not slide around. It is also easy to store and remove the phone without a ton of effort.

Cons: if you use the sewn in belt loop and not the metal belt clip, the metal belt clip will dig into your side. The edges are fairly sharp. I had to wrap the metal clip part in duct tape. I could use the belt clip instead, as it is a very sturdy clip, but since it is sewn onto the dual belt loop, it makes the holster quite floppy on my side. I've owned mine for about 9 months, and the Velcro on the cover flap is just about wore out.

Good quality holster that you will be pleased with, but I would rather not have had metal belt clip. The 3 way combo, while very versatile, is too much going on.

Secure way to carry phone; but 6.6, not 6.1" tall

I like using a phone holster and strongly recommend them if you regularly wear a belt. I got my first cell phone since way back in 1998 and have used phone holsters about that long. I credit the holsters for my never, ever losing a phone or having one get damaged in daily use. Plus, using a holster means I don't have to dedicate a pants pocket to carrying my phone. This brand of holster is usually good for as much as 3-4 years of daily use. The Velcro that keeps the top flap closed typically wears out after about 2-3 years. But I then just install a snap closure from our household sewing supplies and the holster is good to go for a couple more years. But be advised that this holster is not 6.1 inches tall as stated on Amazon, but more like 6.6 to 6.7 inches. So it's designed to fit today's oversize smartphones. If you use a smaller phone, it's going to ride very loosely in this holster. (I use a 5 3/4 inch tall Android smartphone. Apple, of currently sells the iPhone 13 Mini, which is also 5 3/4 inches -- smaller than today's more common 6 1/2 or even taller phones. One note of caution: Don't use the holster's belt clip, because if you sit down wrong, the phone holster will slip right off your belt, often without you feeling it happen. But, the holster is made so you can also slide your belt through the wide, flat loop behind the metal belt clip and the holster will never come off. You can even break off the metal mounting clip, if you like. Overall, a good item at a great price.
