Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Perfect for retrofitting a new Briggs and Stratton engine into an older machine with a different style hookup. It came with extra pins and everything worked well.
If you are putting modern Briggs and Stratton replacement engine into an older mower, this is exactly what you need. Modern Briggs engines have a six pin Molex female connector. You'll use the male connector grom this kit to update your mower harness.
The Briggs will have four wires going into the connector: an orange wire that provides a separate power supply to the key and thus any "accessories" such as lights (while not in the "run" position); a red wire that has an inline diode that charges the battery (and can be connected to the input for the starter solenoid if conveniently located); a grey wire running to the carburetor and a black wire that grounds the magneto and functions as a kill switch.
In my application on a Dixon 36 Speed ZTR, I simply cut the 2 pin connector (carb and magneto ground) off the mower harness, soldered the Molex pins on the wire ends and pushed them into the proper location. I made a short connector grom the starter solenoid input to the molex connector. Since I have to accessories, I left the orange wire open.
I replace the CCC2 internals on my Duo-Therm Penguin and needed this connector to connect to a Dometic ADB. This was a direct fit and is the EXACT same part that the factory includes with these stand-alone units.
