As above, pretty and sturdy. It seems thicker than the half inch advertised. I know it shows in the picture, but the ad copy doesn't mention that it is beveled, with a flat side and a tapered side. The four stars are because the beveled side isn't perfectly symmetrical; the oval effect is very slightly narrower at one end. You wouldn't notice unless you looked for it and that's just mine, yours may come perfect. Overall it is very nice and I may order another to use as a cutting and serving board; this one became the mounting board for house numbers since teak could take the humidity on our front porch

Love this little 12 x 8 Terra Teak Wood Serving Board. It is small and easy to manage. I love to use this as a single serve little cheese board. This little serving board is perfect to use for a snack, either at home in your favorite chair or on the go in your RV or boat! Either way it is perfect for a small bite while enjoying the outdoors. The board is sturdy, compact and easy to store.

This board measures exactly 12" long and 8" wide. It has gorgeous color to it, my photo doesn't do it justice. What I love about it is the other side of the board has a different color so I can flip it and use the other side based on what I'm serving. This board is elegant and versatile, perfect for entertaining. I served some appetizers on it (please excuse my burnt gyoza!).

This teak service board is good both serving such as cheese and crackers, and also as an individual plate as in the photo. I have used as both. teak board is well made and the shape is easy to pickup and use. Best instruction sheet i have ever received on a wooden food product. Recommended
