As Hampton DeVille throws its resources into government arms deals and useless mobile devices, employees Matt and Jake struggle to separate their personal and working lives, and just try to make it through each day.
One of the best workplace shows I've seen in a while! Obviously reminiscent of Office Space. As a corporate drone myself, I can personally attest to the accuracy of the kafkaesque work environment and ridiculous ideas produced by angry, suicidal, and defeated cubicle slaves. Although this is truly meant to be a comedy, it is really more of a scathing portrayal of modern life in large companies, demonstrating how dehumanizing and toxic the "enlightened" modern day workplace is.
One of the best nihilistic comedies to come out this year. If you love the "nothing really matters" theme of Rick and Morty and office space then you'll love this show. Being a corporate drone myself I know the soul crushing feeling of being just another cog in a machine.
