This is such a nice scale. Enough so that I ended up buying a 2nd one a few days after I received it just in case I wanted to put it in the hallway bathroom, or down in the exercise room.
Our old scale broke. It was super fancy at the time we bought it over 20 years ago, since it allowed you to store settings for several people and could estimate body fat, etc. But the downside was -- it was HEAVY and BULKY. It usually got stored in a closet because there really wasn't a good place for it. Scales usually aren't that great looking, more of an eye-sore. Anyway, the batteries leaked in the old scale last year and it completely died, leaving us without a scale.
When I saw this FITINDEX scale, it was initially the price that sold me. It looked like other scales that cost twice as much & based on some of the reviews at the time I figured it'd be worth the shot.
Upon receiving the scale, I was surprised how light it was and how thin it was too. So much nicer in terms of weight compared to my old scale. My wife and I don't use all the fancy settings it has, we just need it for the weight -- and now after owning it for about a year, I can say it was definitely a good buy! We've used it daily at times and I've only had to change the battery once so far. It's nice and bright! When compared to another scale we have, it seems accurate.
The icing-on-the-cake though is that since it's new looking and compact, and not this beat up old scale we used to have, we've now set it up against a wall next to a chair in our bedroom. It's got a permanent place, so my wife doesn't have to pull the scale from the bathroom closet multiple times a week (if not daily). Just walk over and step on and off the scale. Easy. During periods of months where we're exercising quite a bit, or we're intermittent fasting, it's nice being able to step on it before bed or any time during the day to as some positive motivation [well, sometimes] for when you're giving it your all.
So, despite not being able to discuss all its extra features, I can say that from my experience this scale is high quality & I haven't had any issues with it. I'm most excited at the price paid, how it looks, and how light it is. It was a perfect replacement and is wife-approved as well!
