Love love love this yoga mat! I really like that it’s longer and a bit wider than standard mats, I feel like I have enough room to properly exercise and not feel like I’m gonna go off my mat. On that note, I find it to be adequately non-slip, even when my hands or feet get a little sweaty (which is pretty much every time I work out or do yoga). The back of the mat is a different, “heftier” texture which helps it from sliding. It’s also the perfect thickness. I have RA so I wanted a thicker mat to add more cushion. So far I haven’t felt any discomfort from it being too thick or thin.
I wanted to do yoga while in Europe this past March and it was very easy to carry my mat around with me. It came with a Velcro strap and cord for carrying which works well and held up through lots of traveling; I had a cloth bag that was large enough to fit the rolled-up mat in, so I tucked in the edges and put the cord and strap around it. I’ll probably purchase a real yoga mat carrying bag soon but for now this works.
Some reviewers mention an odor when they first received their mat but mine had none whatsoever.
I ordered the green turquoise and it’s really a beautiful color. It makes me feel motivated to exercise, it’s a strong and uplifting color but not too bright.
Overall I’m very pleased with this mat. It’s a great price too, I’d buy it again.
